It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Yep, and you are. Christians do not know who they are. The identity thief has stolen our identity. The sad part is most refuse their identity. Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. IMHO she was blessed for her love of Our Father...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Yes, but I believe more and more people are going to be casting off denominational oppression, bondags, and ,shackles. People are beginning to trust the Word over doctrines and dogmas of men.

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

I had this discussion with my son-in-law some years ago. People just do not understand the tithe imho. I mean it is easier to give the dime out of a dallar than it is to give 100 dollars out of a thousand. But it is just a dime out of a dollar. Some rich people give, sure out of their surplus...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Oh brother, don't get offended. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. It was just a suggestion. You said you were suffering loss. I just made a suggestion because our Father made some promises associated with paying the the tithe. I have found that Our Father does not lie. And He...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Yeah, that is a nice sentiment and sounds very religious. But preachers today do not preach for no money. I don't know if they ever did.

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

I just stated scripture. It is not my idea but our Heavenly Father's. Maybe you should pray about it. Maybe you should agree with scripture and start paying your tithe.I posted the scripture for your edification. :)

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

I looked up Micael Brown on Amazon.com. Check it out. https://www.amazon.com/Michael-L.-Brown/e/B001IZVFFU/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1493850615&sr=8-2-ent See, this is what I am talking about. First Creflo Dollar was not asking him for any dollars to my knowledge. I remember all that flak about the...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Umm Hmm. Our Father is good like that, so we can take Him at His Word, and He is not a respecter of persons. At my former congregation our pastor said pay your tithe. If you bring your tithe, the church will pay for your need. I think this is the way the tithe suppose to work because our Father...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

LOL! I have a funny story about this scene. Once, some years ago, the pastor's wife got upset because after church service on Sundays, the children would go to the little mini market down the street from our churc to spend money buying drinks, chips, candy etc. So she got on a campaign to stop...

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

I never said there are not abuses. But the people who we are discussing preach, serve the poor, and, they give back into their ministries to help the poor. They start schools, they train missionaries and evangelists to spread the gospel. Plus, their money comes mostly from the products they produce.

Show me scripture to support this. Jesus praised the poor woman who gave her last two pennies.

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Who says they are funneling charitable givings? They write, books make cd's and dvd's, and I guess get paid for speaking engagements. If you did the same, do you think other people should tell you how to spend your money?

It's time to replace theological bombast with unity in the Spirit

Preaching the tithe is truth. The lie is, you don't have to honor the Word. Our Father's Word is tied up in His promise about the tithe. And if you do not pay the tithe, you are robbing God and you will suffer loss. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast...
