    "On business", perhaps? I have seen impressive looking frontages of hotels and public buildings at Kalgoorlie in the popular red brick of 100 years ago; some towns in Western Canada - such as Nanton, Alberta, are very similar. What outsiders also notice is the typical, 'Colonial' verandas.

    tango: You've obviously never felt the urge to do it! :) but a lot of Christians (of both genders) do it, not unusually with faith based designs that are proven conversation-starters in witness.

    Sounds great; and you know I read about on Lake Michigan the National Lakeshore just into a bit of Indiana also; before you get to East Chicago. But Michigan, there's Holland, Mi and all the beaches, right? and Grand Rapids with all the bookstores! :)
