    EVs during this heat wave

When electronics get hot, they shut down. When a battery dies, the system can not work. Somehow there needs to be some sort of safety net for an incident like this to not happen again. Though one needs to be sure the car is charged before using it. From what I read, this was a failure of the...

    High Speed Trains

Traveling by train in the US would have to be totally overhauled. What we have doesn't really work well and it limited to where you can go. If I had the opportunity to travel by HSR, I would. It would require a huge expansion of the rail system and would take longer than 10 years. The idea...

Women who don't take their husband's name

I understand it when a woman is known with her maiden name in some sort of profession such as doctors and lawyers though some would use the maiden name for the job and the husband's name for other areas of their lives. I think part of the reason women were refusing to take their husband's...

Wish I could opt-out of political ads on tv

We use to live in Iowa and it was worse than it is here in Texas. Up there we had at least a full year of it. What we do with political ads and ads in general is hit the mute button on the remote. At least then we don't have to listen to them.

    Do you use a nebulizer?

Used to have one when my two oldest needed it when they were younger. They only needed to use them during flair ups as they were fairly well controlled with inhalers. I have had patients in my home care days who had to use certain neb meds daily. How often used depends on the med needed...

What criticisms should we give our pastors?

Talk with him first. I advocate following the guidelines set out in Matthew 18. Many times, talking with the Pastor about your concern is all that is needed.

    When joining a new church...

I usually join our church's women's group. Other than that, I take my time in deciding what else I might join or do.

    Set Your Air Conditioner

About 74 degrees and when it gets stuffy, we run the ceiling fans. Our house is built for efficiency. I am sure for some people it is too warm, but for us, we are all good.
