    Somewhere around 3. Unless it is a really bad day then ups a few. Never a 10 though. There are just a lot of bad drivers and one has to expect that.

    Sitting here looking around on CH and the on to other sites. Plan on doing some needlepoint and/or counted cross stitch. May start on decluttering and organizing my craft/study room. It has gotten full of the "don't know where to put this so put it in Forgiven's room."

    We lived mostly in Nebraska and northern Iowa. I had this need to get out of winter so here we are in south Texas. Gets a little on the warm side in the summer (ok, downright hot and humid) but there is this little thing called AC. We also have lots of people who live up north in the summer...

    Book of Genesis

    Bible Scholars have Moses as having written Genesis. I have seen it said it was written around 1446 to 1406 BC though I don't believe it is known for sure when it was written.

    Traveling with kids

    Snacks, games, singing, frequent breaks. One time I highlighted on maps where we were starting and where we were stopping and gave them the days copies.

    Almost daily. We do not have carpet and we have cats. Fortunately our house is small.

    The Law is to show us our sins, where we have done wrong. The gospel shows us our Savior, how we are made fight with God through forgiveness of those sins, putting us right. It is through our Savior, taking out sins with him in his death that we are made right upon our confessions of those sins

    When someone is in despair, they are feeling the full weight of the law. They know what they have done wrong. What they need to hear is that they are forgiven. That Jesus loves them. That Jesus died for those sins. The Gospel.

    Stay inside in AC. On the other hand, having been here so many years, you get used to it to a certain level. Doing errands in the morning if you can.

    At 8:30 a.m. it is 83 and we are in a hurricane watch for tomorrow evening. May be a Tropical Storm or a Category 1

    Funeral Services at the church

    At the church. Don't think there has ever been one at the funeral home. Well, except my mother, for some reason we had my mother's at the funeral home and I am not sure why.
