What do you think makes christianity.Stand out from every other religion out there?:)

@Him, I like your name; it's very easy to type. :) Look at the ESV word-for-word translation of Romans 3:21-25 from the Greek. Which version are you using? Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—...

Hebrews 10:26-27 - is there no sacrifice post-repentance or is it a lifestyle thing?

@Can't think of a name, as I explain in my post, "knowledge of the truth" never equates with genuine salvation (we need to know God personally); therefore, such wandering doesn't involve losing faith or salvation, which the person never had in the first place.

Hebrews 10:26-27 - is there no sacrifice post-repentance or is it a lifestyle thing?

@jswauto, where in the Bible do you find such a separation of the two kinds? I think that they are one; a whole unrepentant life leads to eternal sins into the future. I completely agree with your last sentence!

If you feel like you dont got a girlfriend/boyfriend in heaven the lord god will give one so just relax

@SetFree, Paul also taught in 1 Corinthians 15 that our resurrection bodies will be our bodies miraculously made perfect, glorious with God's glory, and spiritual, which in Paul's meaning completely filled with and controlled by the Holy SPIRIT. Jesus showed his resurrection body with his...

?¿]]Will there be 3 types of people (all get oppertunity to get saved)¿???????????

There are no fence-straddlers in life, @Holy999, in other words, no "middle." But the wicked people's chance is only in this life, not after death.

Hebrews 10:26-27 - is there no sacrifice post-repentance or is it a lifestyle thing?

In verse 26, what does having "knowledge of the truth" mean? Does it really mean, as many people assume, that those people are saved but have become unsaved? No, many people have "knowledge of the truth," perhaps because they were raised going to church; but they don't know God--the Father...

Can all believers cast out demons?

@jswauto, I once witnessed the sermon of a Christian evangelist in a Pentecostal service, when the crowd's "speaking in tongues" drowned out him out. At the end of that chaos, he invited people to come forward for healing. He prayed over a blind person that the devil would come out of her in...

Does Satan know who is his?

I don't think he knows our hearts, but he tests the faith of professing believers, sometimes severely with God's permission as he did with Job. The point of that book is that true faith perseveres: Job 1:8 And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like...

Do you believe that God is the just Judge or all humans?

No, @MrE, I'm just adding the other side of the divine picture about the balance between God's love and his justice. Both are true.

    When The penny drops.

@Can't think of a name, I know that there is a ministry in London for a church that is new where you can get re-baptized, if that's important to you, and where they preach and teach the Bible well. I don't know how you can find out about them except through the Internet. You might have travel a...

do you wear white garments ? ( no problem if you cannot afford or does not have it in surroundings:)

God gave me his white garments four years after my immersion and 66 years before my next immersion. I have soiled those garments with inner and outer sins. But he has always cleaned them up by his grace and love.

For it is God who works in you

Yes, Edward429451, we need to pray and obey the many commands in both the Old and New Testaments, but God provides all the motivation and strength for such actions. It's not a passive thing when we work out our salvation, but all the credit goes to God, who is working in us to accomplish any and...

Do you believe that God is the just Judge or all humans?

@MrE, and God is equally full of grace and love, when he punished his own unique Son, Jesus, on the cross and transferred Jesus' not-guilty verdict to us who trust in Jesus' death and resurrection as our way to our Father the Judge's approval.

Dont you believe everything would be better if all were pacifits

Loving our neighbor means that we must defend ourselves when our neighbor attacks. Such justified self-defense happened when the United States was attacked in WWII. Our love for ourselves as required in the second commandment allows for self-defense, Holy999. Jesus says, Mar 12:30 And you...

@Can't think of a name, I'm curious. Why don't you attend a Reformed church or independent church that's close to the Scriptures near you? I was a Christian Reformed pastor until I discovered that the congregation I attended in retirement wasn't really interested in outreach to the community...

If you feel like you dont got a girlfriend/boyfriend in heaven the lord god will give one so just relax

@Holy999, yes, in Genesis 2, husband and wife become "one flesh," but when one of them dies, they are no longer "one flesh." As a result, our souls begin worshiping and loving God alone. Then, with our resurrection, God becomes our only focus in our resurrection bodies, just as it is with the...
