If you’re going to make the claim that the Maccabees were lawless (even though they were the only ones standing up for righteousness at the time), then you need to back up your claim with evidence. Making claims without explaining your evidence is wasting everybody’s time.

There is not one single early church council that declared the gospel of Judas to be divine canonical scripture. But there are multiple early church councils that declared 1 and 2 Maccabees to be divine canonical scripture. You’re not even making any sense.

Martin Luther actually wanted to keep the book of 1st Maccabees. He even referred to it as Holy Scripture. Luther said that you can’t understand Daniel 11 without 1 Maccabees. He just wanted to get rid of 2 Maccabees. But the early church declared both to be canonical scripture.
