Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

You’re not making sense. Nobody here is talking about a wedding. You’re wasting people’s time. If you have nothing sensible to say, then please don’t bother responding.

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

If you’re going to make the claim that the Maccabees were lawless (even though they were the only ones standing up for righteousness at the time), then you need to back up your claim with evidence. Making claims without explaining your evidence is wasting everybody’s time.

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

Why is it lawless? I thought that the Maccabees were defeating the lawless Greeks and putting the temple back in order. I don’t understand. What’s lawless about it?

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

Where does the book of Maccabees say that they tattooed themselves? Chapter and verse please? You’ve proven nothing until you show the verse that says they got tattoos. I’ve read Maccabees, and I don’t remember reading anything about tattoos.

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

There is not one single early church council that declared the gospel of Judas to be divine canonical scripture. But there are multiple early church councils that declared 1 and 2 Maccabees to be divine canonical scripture. You’re not even making any sense.

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

What is sinful about the holiday? Judas Maccabee purified the temple that the Greeks defiled and rededicated it to the Lord. How is that sinful? And it never says that Jesus refused to celebrate it. Otherwise he would have refused to go, just like when he told his brothers that he refused to go...

Did Jesus celebrate the Holiday that commemorates the Maccabees?

Picture taken from John 10:22 in the original 1611 King James. The Feast of Dedication is the Feast of Hanukkah, as shown in this marginal note. Jesus celebrated the Maccabees? But they told me that the New Testament never acknowledges the Apocrypha. ???????

Doesn’t the book of Hebrews reference Maccabees?

Did you still want the link to that Bible took a picture of? It’s the 400-year anniversary version of the original 1611 King James. That’s where I took the picture from. Here’s the link: Holy Bible, 1611 King James Version: 400th Anniversary Edition Holy Bible, 1611 King James Version: 400th...

Who entertained angels unaware, as stated in Hebrews 13:2?

Martin Luther actually wanted to keep the book of 1st Maccabees. He even referred to it as Holy Scripture. Luther said that you can’t understand Daniel 11 without 1 Maccabees. He just wanted to get rid of 2 Maccabees. But the early church declared both to be canonical scripture.

You say it’s not. Early church says it is. Who’s the faker?

Who entertained angels unaware, as stated in Hebrews 13:2?

He was fully aware, but had doubts. He knew it was supposed to be an angel, but wasn’t sure. That doesn’t fit with “entertaining angels unaware” as stated in Hebrews 13:2. Tobit is the only thing that matches up.
