A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

No. Their communication with God no longer exists after the sin of Adam. They are spiritually dead and cannot discern God. Paul says ; “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually...

A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

Not really. Believers have eternal life, always part of God's eternal plan. The rest are damned but hate God anyway and love their sin more. It's not like God kicking someone who wants to be saved in the face and telling them to go to hell. Only the elect want to be saved, the rest do not.

For those who hold to TULIP, are any of you non-elect?

T.U.L.I.P is an attempt to reconcile Calvin's Universal Atonement with Limited Atonement as taught in scripture. Crafted by the Synod of Dort, only the first 3 points square with the Bible and Limited Atonement. The remaining 2 fit with Universal Atonement.

    Jesus born at thy birth

Yet few read or understand them. The evidence is, Creeds unify, and ignorance of them divides.

A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

I would like to see Jesus proven wrong by Universal Atonement buffs, once and for all. These are his words only. “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11 (KJV 1900) “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.” John 10:26...

    Jesus born at thy birth

If the Athanasian Creed is exhaustive, why have more creeds? It is very elementary.

    Jesus born at thy birth

I don't think you understand the Trinity doctrines by your accusing me of that. And if you could prove me wrong, you would have already done so. I believe all of the Ecumenical Creeds are spot on in what they teach. That is where I learned the details of the Trinity and Christology. Why don't...

The only method of Baptism taught and demonstrated in scripture

The Apostles demonstrated the proper method of Baptism: “(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)” Acts 8:16 (KJV 1900) “And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”...

Why does Jugement Day remain if Jesus paid for everyone's Sins?

You said "That's correct that dead people cannot make themselves hear, but GOD is the one who has them hear. Now do you see it?" = Calvinism.

Why does Jugement Day remain if Jesus paid for everyone's Sins?

So what about Jesus paying for all sins including the sin of rejecting him?

The only method of Baptism taught and demonstrated in scripture

Baptism in Jesus’ name, The Command: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Matthew 28:19 (KJV 1900) The Interpretation: “(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the...

    Persecution?

We are fortunate in the USA for separation of church and State laws seeing how the State churches have always been the main sources of innocent bloodshed in the Bible and to a great extent in world history. Have any of you been persecuted in any way for following Christ?

Why does Jugement Day remain if Jesus paid for everyone's Sins?

Your creed is flawed. So you reflect Calvinism as a way out. I pointed this out using your quote earlier.

    Jesus born at thy birth

I accept all the Ecumenical Creeds. But more detail is available than in the Athanasian creed. Why does your church have its own creed if this is not true?

Why does Jugement Day remain if Jesus paid for everyone's Sins?

But Paul says after you speak, the dead guy still cannot hear. So you turn to Calvinism to bail you out.

Not at all. Two versions of the Trinity. One true, the other false.

    Separation of Church and State

As a Christian, it is hard for me to think the State protects me from any Church. But that's what it is about. Think of the thousands, if not millions killed if you include the Catholics and their history. How do you comprehend this, or deal with it being presently associated with them?

Why does Jugement Day remain if Jesus paid for everyone's Sins?

You wind up teaching Calvinism in your reply, and not Lutheranism. "GOD is the one who has them hear. Now do you see it?"
