    Persecution?

I can identify with that. Once as a factory manager, I told the owners I would get a fair amount of work from the women in the factory in trade for a fair wage for them. They came through with honest pay, but in time it got me fired.

Thomas Cranmer (1489-1556) on the Eucharist

“The denial of Christ’s full humanity in the transubstantiation heresy of Roman Catholicism, was recognized by the first Protestant Archbishop of Canterbury (1533-1556), the Marian martyr, Thomas Cranmer (1489-1556). Concerning “transubstantiation,” Cranmer rightly said in 1550, “the Papists …...

The only method of Baptism taught and demonstrated in scripture

Is anyone really baptized if not in the way defined and illustrated by the Apostles? I repented from the Catholic version everyone uses today and found a Trinitarian Church to Baptize me in the Name of Jesus Christ.

    How much snow so far?

Sometimes careful drivers are overtaken by weather situations beyond their control. I use Michelin tires and they cut my loss of control driving 30 miles to work every day, probably in half. So many variables come into play.

    Persecution?

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV 1900) What is your greatest experience of persecution for Christ?

    Flaming on Christianity Haven

What about libel? Where someone calls you a liar? And removes posting privileges accusing you of lying about being a trinitarian for example?

    Movies they should make

I would also like to see a Horror Movie featuring the drownings and burnings of the thousands of pacifist Anabaptists by the Protestant State Churches and the Catholics during the Reformation. It would be a real eye-opener based on verifiable history. The Protestants routinely drowned them while...

    Persecution?

I read about what Jesus tells us to expect from the world and the religious sector. So I feel blessed in how mild my persecution has been compared to those Christians who survived the horrors of the Reformation.

    How much snow so far?

    Not much in our area.

    Fell a tree?

Dig around the parameter, and use a winch tied to another tree to break the roots loose. I've also used a Jeep for this.

    Sledding, Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice Skating?

Jeeping. It's not where you are going, it's how you get there.

A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

Yes. I didn't know what was happening to me but was thrilled by it. It wasn't until years later that I broke free from the Universal Atonement churches and understood my experience through my Limited Atonement studies.

The Underbelly of "Christian" Internet discussion groups

I've been posting to internet discussion forums and especially to "Christian" based groups for many years now. And I've learned much about the corruption that sets the tone for these groups. Unprofessional Moderation is probably the biggest fault. When differences develop between contributors...

    Jesus born at thy birth

Have you considered that Churches also write their own creeds that center on the false teaching that divides them from the rest of the body of Christ? Paul forbids this as carnal-mindedness. But this is why so many different forms of Christianity exist today. And if you present the Bible to...

    Movies they should make

How about The Blob, frozen at the North Pole, where the original movie left him, coming back to life because of global warming? He oozes growing until he covers the planet. A perfect horror movie would be The Reformation, showing the murderous rampage of the Protestants and Catholics against...

A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

Here's my story. God made my salvation known to me when I was 20. The Lord converted me over a period of 3 days. I began telling people that I didn't know what was going on but I think Christ is real and he is dealing with me. The joy of the Holy Spirit and God's love had become real and...

    Meditating on God

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 (KJV 1900) How do you think of God when your mind is stayed on him? I drift off in perfect peace thinking of God as the eternal Spirit who extends in all directions without beginning or...

For those who hold to TULIP, are any of you non-elect?

Points 4 & 5 reflect salvation by works, which God supposedly forces a person to do. Salvation happens before any act of the will ever becomes involved. And Those people believe in Christ and live a holy life because of their new nature. Like a cat does cat things because it's a cat.

A Catholic perspective on Limited Atonement and Universal Atonement arguments.

The reprobate hate God. Consider. This is the condition of the saved person. “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” Galatians 5:17 (KJV 1900) If you remove the...

The only method of Baptism taught and demonstrated in scripture

But when the Apostles baptized in Jesus' name, they revealed the personal name of the triune God. The Bible is full of the same. But many are lethargic in their personal studies and miss it. One poster even ends up with God's one essence cut up into 3 pieces trying to say only the Son was in Christ.
