    Lämmchen's Workout Thread

I've been feeling something I can only describe as a spiritual heaviness the last few days so after church I went for a walk in the woods. Walking in the woods usually leaves me feeling closer to God, as it gives me time on my own to just let my mind freewheel and give anything chance to bubble...

    Confession of sins

Sure, sin is more than actions. We aren't specifically required to confess to others but we may sometimes choose to, whether to share a struggle or for any other reason.

    Rummage/Garage sale tips?

Do people actually make meaningful money from yard sales? The ones I've been to have occasionally had something particularly nice there but a lot of them have come with the kind of "our junk could be your junk" approach. If the stuff you have is worth something you can probably sell it...

Can a christian get a spell cast on them?

Anyone can have a spell cast on them. Whether the spell is effective would depend on a lot of things, including whether the intended target was under God's protection.

    Confession of sins

Confession of sin to a pastor isn't something I've specifically come across although I'd assume the pastor would be willing to meet with someone for any reason, which may include confession of sins. I have attended services where there's a specific prayer of confession. Personally I don't care...

    Need help with cousin.

That's not really how astral projection works. I suspect your cousin is seeking attention more than anything else.

Workout in two stages today. Firstly a run, I got a little over two miles before I got hit with a couple of hailstones that hurt. Then my phone's klaxon went off because there was an extreme storm warning, so I was considering where I might take shelter if it came to that, and then my wife's car...

I have been praying for jesus to give me an out of body experience or lucid dream.

Reading your Bible would do a much better job of enhancing your walk with Jesus than asking for dreams.

Arnold Schwarzenegger believes Heaven is a 'fantasy', says: 'We won’t see each other again after we’re gone'

Or if you want a response from a wider cross-section, post it in a forum frequented by the people you want. A Christian forum is aimed at Christians, just like a wood turning forum is aimed at wood turners and a crochet forum is aimed at people who crochet.

Not such a good walk today. I had some stuff I needed to do in two different nearby towns so hit them both, then got my exercise in before our friends came round for the evening. So I walked five miles in the rain, in a waterproof coat that leaks. But I got my exercise in, which is what matters.

Nice walk in the sun yesterday. My wife decided she wants to start walking with me rather than getting her steps in at the local walking track, so we did a route she likes. A little over six miles all in - significantly slower than my usual walking pace because she doesn't walk anywhere near as...

Arnold Schwarzenegger believes Heaven is a 'fantasy', says: 'We won’t see each other again after we’re gone'

Well, OK. Agnostics and atheists might agree with a perspective that's, you know, kinda agnostic/atheist in nature. But asking a question like that on a Christian forum does seem a bit like going to a meeting of your local Democrat association and asking how many people voted for Donald Trump...

Arnold Schwarzenegger believes Heaven is a 'fantasy', says: 'We won’t see each other again after we’re gone'

I don't imagine many people on a Christian forum will agree with the view that heaven is a fantasy.

    Novel arguments for God's existence.

What you're describing sounds a lot like the difference between the concepts of evolution and abiogenesis.

39 minute base run today. My legs felt like dead weights today but I got there, and ended up with my watch reporting it as a tempo level effort. It's a bit of a recurring theme that it takes me a little while to get my system warmed up ready to go, and then I struggle to keep the pace down.

I did my suggested 62 minute workout. At about the three mile mark my routes diverge and it was clear that my shorter route wasn't going to be long enough to use up all the time, so I bumped to the next route up. I knew I'd have a bit of extra route when my time was up which was fine - I walked...
