    Lämmchen's Workout Thread

Warmer weather for a couple of days so I took the chance to get a longer run in. Monday I ran 10 miles, yesterday I didn't feel like running (more specifically my calf muscles didn't feel like running) but it was warm again so I went for a gentle run. It's a struggle to keep my speed down but I...

What are your views on vaccines?

I think the recent fiascos with the Covid vaccine has done immeasurable damage to the reputation of vaccines overall. The endless blatherings based on nothing, the imposition of vaccine requirements even before the vaccine was fully approved, and the ongoing questions about side effects coupled...

So... What are YOU doing? - Part 8

If I'm expecting to drive anywhere the cell service is minimal at this time of year I want a decent amount of fuel in the tank, just in case. Other times I don't worry until I'm low. How often do you travel by plane?

Curiously, I usually took the opposite view. I flew between Europe and the US a number of times in years gone by, and if a flight was available on 9/11 I'd take it. The price was lower because there was much less demand, so I paid less for a plane that had plenty of empty seats in it.

How often do you travel by plane?

Do they fly commercially any more? I thought since Concorde was taken out of service the only way to improve the speed of a commercial flight was to charter some kind of private aircraft. That involves some big numbers.

Which window brand do you trust?

A problem I had was that my windows were cool, literally. The guy who fitted them didn't bother to seal around them so I had nice new double-glazed, argon-filled windows but the cold wind just blew around them. When I figured what he'd done I used a tube of sealant and solved the problem myself...

    What are anti-Pauline believers missing?

OK, so the question is whether denying that Paul was divinely inspired necessarily means denying that what Paul wrote was wholly, or even partly, true.
