I don't doubt that, but god engineered us with intelligence, feelings, instincts and the limited ability to heal, unlike a robot which is what god seems to to wish we were. Because we are not robots, It's inevitable that we all seek paths that comfort us and evolve. Something doesn't add up.
What exactly is our purpose here in life? Does one have to live a monk like existence to walk the path to the kingdom of god? The literature says that man is incomplete, this implies that we are not well engineered, is this a short coming of god and if so what does god expect?

I agree, I knew someone like that. Every little thing you said, every little nuance, got cut down. It was absolutely sickening, If my opinions didn't align with theirs's, I was insulted. In the beginning the individual came on like a truly nice person, only to see the friendship disintegrate...
We all have a life plan god assigned us, well beyond birth. The god I know want's diversity in all things. Unfortunately our plan doesn't always align with our hopes and dreams. We are god's orchestra, where everyone has a part to play and were god nudges us. I truly believe the holy spirit...
