I had a friend write this on Facebook in reply to someone, and this got me thinking. I feel like this argument will lead to no where because it would be a double standard as some will accept it as valid for one argument, yet deny it in another.

Which term do you use? I've always used Holy Spirit as the term Holy Ghost doesn't sound right. With the image ghosts are portrayed in these days, it makes it sound like the Holy Spirit is some elevated holy version of Casper the friendly ghost lol. :lol::rotfl:

An argument I've heard quite often in Mariology because when people seem to honor Mary as the Mother of God, people say she was just a random woman selected. And if so, then many why did God need to use a random woman to reveal His Son?

I've heard some say that Liturgical worship is rather a waste of time and really doesn't allow one to connect.
