Tonight I was thinking this. Why do some feel they need to modernize?

I know this might get heated but I wanted to discuss this and bring it up. Why do some resort to sheep stealing and do not find any wrong in it?

Was it based on what they heard or thought? Or was it what they thought was important based on their writings?

Yes I know we've done a ton of Mary threads, but I wanted to discuss this since I've been thinking about it. I know this is a hair splitting discussion between many Christians, so wanted to gather opinions. Orthodoxy says Mary was Ever Virgin which is what I believe.

In the movie Son of God, Judas spits out the bread which is the Body out before betraying Judas. Some say that he did so because Satan was in him.

Why do some follow the teaching of Oneness, and do not believe in the Holy Trinity?

I'm talking in regards to those like Saint George, etc. What do you feel about the title of Saint they are given?

A friend of mine questioned why I was fasting and asked what the purpose of it was. I said it is to physically refrain from things we enjoy in order to spiritually prepare ourselves for the coming of the Resurrection. What do you feel Fasting is about and its purpose?

How does this come into play and how can it be eliminated?

One thing that I've thought of before is how some Christians will refute some theologies and say it's not in the Bible. An interesting thought is Martin Luther having the unchallenged ability to alter the Bible.
