    Pickles

There is any difference between those things? We ate that with cheese on a birthday party when I was a kid. A piece of cheese with a pickle or a sour onion on a stick.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

It reminds me of a discussion from years ago with a modalist who kept saying Isaiah 9:6 Jesus is the Father. LOL and the other guy was a theologian or something. He was so good at explaning the Trinity, but the answer was all the time Isaiah 9:6 Jesus is the Father.

    Snacking on lately

They're a bit like cherry tomatoes, but those taste differently.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

You simply don't believe and understand 2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. No u lol

    Had to call the police

They stole my bike and ruined another bike. If you went to the police, you got money back from the insurance company.

Would you charge Usury? Is Usury immoral?

I think it's fine for a bank to do, cause noone works for free, but they don't have to ask so insane much. If I help someone who has no cent, I just give. Oh wait lol. I looked up the word. That is asking insane much. Yes that's immoral. Asking a bit is not. On the other hand I was happy when...

Child rapists eligible for the death penalty

Interesting. I had no idea. Once a Jehovah's witness came at the door when I was a teen and he was a pacifist, so I was just like: oh great, me too! You may not kill. But it's all a bit more complicated. A guy who used to post here, his dad is a WWII veteran and he was still mad that they...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Reconciliation as far as I know the normal word for it is always 2 sided. If someone stabs a knife in my back I have to forgive em, but is the relationship good when they are not even sorry? No so we are not reconciled. If they at least show that they're sorry, no problem, all is well...

Child rapists eligible for the death penalty

We had a girl in a church I used to go to who got raped by her dad. She was then 16. Don't know how long it had been going on. My ex played guitar there and kicked a demon out of him and she forgave him. I saw on Facebook, she's now in her 40s, a pic from her mom and dad. She's very fond of him...

Child rapists eligible for the death penalty

I would feel safe. That guy is really changed. Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. Is that God installing the death penalty? This sounds just like: who grabs the sword shall be killed by the sword. And we can die with Christ. That's...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Lol back to the rabbit trail. Yes I don't understand all this terminology, cause it's all quite simple and a child can understand it, but when they throw all that terminology in, I don't always get what they're saying. I agree with that guy from the basics link...

    Snacking on lately

Candy tomatoes. They call em that to make kids eat vegetables. I'm 10 kilo too fat since I stopped with nicotin, so I'll stuff myself full with tomatoes.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

The old man got killed with Christ and evil was condemned in the flesh and He laid all our iniquities on Him, just like with the scapegoat and the priest putting all the sins of Israel on the scapegoat and then send him into the desert. The sins from the world were done away when Jesus died, but...

Child rapists eligible for the death penalty

Because it's O.T. texts and then you may also give everyone who commits adultery or isn't virgin with marriage the death penalty, like they did in the O.T. Jesus now died. In Israel in the O.T. the only way to get rid of evil was to kill people, well, except David, he didn't get the death...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

The writer of that link? I agree with that. I only try to make sense of 2 seemingly opposite texts in Romans 5: we were reconciled versus be reconciled with God (which means you're not yet reconciled when you're not saved). It's both true, so I'll Google what theologians have to say about it.

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

The old man crucified is when the individual has moved from being “in Adam” to being “in Christ.” As a result of being “in Christ” we have come to share in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What happened to Jesus has now been applied to us in such a way that it happens to us: the old...

Who is "him that justifieth the ungodly"?

Geerhardus Vos, in his treatment of "The Pauline Conception of Reconciliation" (Redemptive History and Biblical Interpretation, pp. 361-365) crystallises the concept by summarising thus: "the apostle means by reconciliation an objective transaction accomplished by God in Christ" and that "the...

    The biggest mistake

Putting the person above God. A preacher once said: and then you ask God for a girl and you get one, oooh I'm so happy, he held a supposed pic from a girl, oh she gets more important than God. He dropped the pic on the floor and said too bad girl gone LOL. It rhimes in Dutch. Da's pech. Meissie weg.

A social norm you don't understand

My ex always uses a regular bottle, cause his parents are Indonesian and there it's normal to use a bottle. My dad used one too, cause his dad learned that in Brazil. We have no bidets here. Ex wanted me to use a bottle to clean the kids up when they were small. Bye. I'm not gonna put my hands...
