What things make you skin crawl/shudder

Mine would have to be spiders I was just getting a towel out the airing cupboard and this big black looking spider decided to make its appearance, just as well my daughter was sitting in the bathroom cleaning something, when I said oh F@@@ look at that thing.. she got up took a big plastic cup with lid and removed said spider .. Oh I love my daughter, but really don't like spiders indoors..

So what is it that makes you shudder or say rude words...

Once my youngest sat in the bike and there was a spider in it and he screamed and got out and I screamed but I had to kill it for him with a shoe. A man came walking to us: Are you doing okay? Doesn't the bike work anymore?
Oh just a spider.

All other animals are cute, although, big fat jumping frogs I'm not really a fan of either.

Yep, spiders too!
But not cockroaches, eww!
And on the street just the other night, I kicked a piece of paper, and a bunch of little ones went scattering! And I started stomping them. And then I heard in my head, All creatures great and small, ..... and I .... Ummm ..... Stomped once more, and then kept walking. Was that wrong?! I'm such a softy sometimes.
But they were roaches! But babies! But roaches!!! Ack!

The feel of cotton balls squished between my fingers is similar to fingernails across a chalk board for many.

As far as spiders and snakes are concerned I have to deal with them more often than not doing outdoor carpentry. My helpers go out of their way to kill them, but I generally will not. I get bitten by brown recluses at least once a year. My helper got bitten by a black widow a couple of years ago. I'll usually run snakes off. And alligators. I generally won't kill things anymore. When my work calls for the removal of a swarm or nest I will try and get around it if at all possible.

I don't really have any qualms with killing parasites though, like ticks, fleas, leaches, mosquitos, and the like.

peace

What things make you skin crawl/shudder

Crisis actors who play a part for a larger, deceptive agenda. We see your duping delight, we are aware of your real motive(s).

You are lower than any spider, snake or other creepy crawly thing - because you betray humanity and what is good in humanity for your own agendas - you are scum.

You will be beaten and tortured with many blows for your actions - this is irrespective of what you have fooled yourself into believing. You sing in the dark. When the light comes, your singing will stop, and you will feel pain and suffering beyond what you can imagine. For a time - until God relents and you are shown mercy by being destroyed.

Gosh, ~Jo~, I was just getting ready to help you beat him up, (not that you need any help from me) and then Rens came through with the link! :privateeye: (sorry, Strav, jumped the gun a bit)

Thanks for the link, Rens! I had no idea!
Ya ever get the feeling there's this whole other world out there, and everybody in it knows everything there is to know about everything instantaneously, and you're just muddling along trying to find out what was so wrong with the regular old light bulbs? :techie:

Why are low blows coming into this thread?

What is going on? What did I miss?

Fake people make my skin crawl. Hypocrites; and as such; myself.

I don't think we should promote needless contention. I'm guessing it isn't needless. That's why I asked about it.

peace

Hi ~Jo~
Seeing how Rens pointed out, correctly, I believe, that that tirade by Strav wasnt directed at you, (although I see you were still not liking it, and I agree with your sentiments), it seems now I'm asking the question, 'Was that directed at me?' when you say you have a pretty good idea about pops post.
It's ok if it is, you know you can ALWAYS talk to me if you feel you need to address something ... We're friends. (Except right now I have no PM capability)
But you can see how easy it is to fall into that thinking of 'Was you talkin' to me?! I tink dey was talkin' to me!' LOL .... :)
