I replaced the heat sink on my desktop PC's CPU. It was much easier than I had anticipated. Quite a pleasing result.

I harvested around 5 kilos of peaches. Not all that much, but I'm not going to be eating that many. Dehydrating some of them, some are yet to ripen fully, and of those that are - making peach wine.

Making a map with a game for my collegue who retires in 2 weeks after almost 40 years. For every year I need a pic. Found some old pics from 1980 when the building was just built, map drawing with a pen, not a computer.
Lol we had one manager she couldn't stand in 2006. We were joking about it. He always thought she was too dumb for this work. So it's a game with a prison in it and lol I had to. I took a pic of him with that goose prison over it. She once told him: I rather see you leave yesterday than today.
That was just so funny that she told him flat out in his face.

You're going to have your own little market stand to sell all your veggies/fruits soon! :)

I have 1,5 hour left to clean up the mess. Looked outside. Saw the new cage I bought and put together.
100 euro for a cage for a one week fight. The thing isn't even used anymore. They get along again.

I am listening to I still haven't found what I'm looking for - a U2 song. My neck is slightly stiff after having a nap. Now I am thinking I need to cook dinner. And freeze some chicken pieces. ... life is so hard :p

They fought for a week? You could always use the other one for a time out cage later :)

What this one about?

My mistake that I posted on this board then used the strikeout feature to correct.

Flat earther's often say that "water doesn't curve", and I also said this. It's such a reduction of the real argument that makes it untrue. Obviously water does curve to the shape of the container that it's in. Then there are things like waves in the ocean. Or a droplet.

That's not the real argument. The real argument is that water always seeks to maintain it's level, and will go every which way (including curving) until it finds that level - and once it does and is unmanipulated and at rest - the surface will be flat.

But peeps are saying "water doesn't curve" and other peeps are capitalizing on the statement to show it's false.

I've learned a few things from re-growing lettuce heads in water.

Don't fill the container with water and then submerge the lettuce even a quarter of the way. And don't put that in a window that gets lots of direct light and on hot days. Can be done with onions and garlic, but not with lettuce. The lettuce I did this with got scorched and the root section actually became unattached.

I have 2 heads of lettuce sitting in a square plastic box, in light, but out of direct light, and only a little nutrient water that covers maybe an inch or so along the bottom. One of them is growing new lettuce from the part I cut off the top.

Every Terrarium that I had in direct light didn't survive except for the lentil plant - that one seems more heat tolerant and it's thriving. Since I saw problems with some of the terrariums that were still going, I've since moved them to areas where they get indirect light.
