IJWTS -
In a way I'm sort of glad I can't participate in the "Christian only" sections. Christians are forever arguing over whether they are saved, what it means to be saved, whether you can lose your salvation, how to tell if someone is saved, whether God saves or we save, or a combination, salvation and baptism, repentance and salvation
and on, and on and on.
Personally - I think all the arguing really stinks. Every man (and woman) has their little mental construct who's entry signpost reads "Salvation". If someone's construct differs from theirs, watch out - because everyone else is a potential wolf in sheep's clothing.
I'm content not having the confidence. Maybe that's because I'm also an annihilationist who doesn't believe in some sort of eternal torture that most Christians seem to subscribe to. Eternal torture is not "justice" and it doesn't reflect a loving God. For Salvation - it's a future event (not a current state) that is God's decision, not mine, and not my place to make that determination - either for myself or anyone else.
