Do you ever clean out email inbox?

Do you ever take the time to go through your emails (or PMs even from here!) and delete things you no longer need? I have a hard time trashing some. Even here I have a good size PM box but I don't want to take the time to delete the ones where someone just replied with a smiley! LOL

Sometimes I do a clean up, especially if I have a lot of spam.

I clean mine out fairly regularly but that doesn't mean deleting everything. I have a few emails dating back to the 90s, albeit in an archive folder.

I have emails on an old account that are from about 15 years ago and some were from ladies from another Christian forum (not CF). These ladies were so sweet that I can't bear to get rid of the emails. It's like I'm getting rid of them from my life if I were to do that.

Oh I have to admit I do clear out my emails not to often maybe every couple of thousand or so, those I want to keep are in folders of there own with a name tag etc..the rest get booted out ..

once every few months..95% of it is junk mail and offers for....things im not even gonna mention here LOL..but yeah i dont check my email too often..I use sites like Facebook and Twitter more often to talk with people..

I'm not all that good about keeping mine tidy. However, at times the spam from one or another site gets ridiculous, so I block those senders - or I wind up blocking everything that follows or contains their base identifier following the @ symbol. I had to do that recently as one spamming website was using multiple addresses with the same base to send me mail.

I keep old emails that are important to me in various ways. Sometimes I save them to a local drive and delete them out of my inbox, though.

Periodically all messages in inbox and sent are deleted by me.
