Do not blame Jesus for the super-bowl
Hmm.
Well after multiple attempts my terrariums have failed. I thought - too much water? Too much soil? Not right balance of minerals in soil?
?
So on a whim I started a new one - used the same soil mixture/dampness - but just changed one thing - location. This one is inside - facing East through a window. Outside the window is some shrubbery. So it gets scattered morning and mid-morning sun.
I planted some pre-soaked chia seeds in there a few days ago.
They have sprouted
Will they last and grow into full grown chia plants? I guess time will tell.
Location does make a difference sometimes. I have an orchid that hated being in the same room we were so I moved it to a room where no one goes and the curtains are shut. It is still light in there. Now it thrives. It is an introvert!
Lol , yes , it's important to talk to your plants ..... And sometimes you have to remind them just where they stand. Don't want any beautiful blooms becoming shrinking violets. We tried once with an orchid. The rumor was (so I read...) that they were quite hardy, and put up well with different conditions. No-one said that to ours.
Home from a memorial service. Now sipping on a home-made mocha
I'm supposed to be working the over-night shift tonight, and really should get some rest. But if I try to rest this late in the afternoon/early evening (6:00 pm) it usually throws me off, so I think I'll try to weather it out. I can rest up tomorrow.

How close is the nearest windmill, Rens?
3,6 km (2 miles or something?)
