No. I chuckled.

There was a tiny element of schadenfreude applicable to the Democratic Party and a smidgeon for the USA too :p

Psalm 33
8: Let all the earth fear the LORD, let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
9: For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood forth.
10: The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nought; he frustrates the plans of the peoples.
11: The counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
13: The LORD looks down from heaven, he sees all the sons of men;
14: from where he sits enthroned he looks forth on all the inhabitants of the earth,
15: he who fashions the hearts of them all, and observes all their deeds.
16: A king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength.
17: The war horse is a vain hope for victory, and by its great might it cannot save.

Fools focus on the world that was planned to be the way it is until it's all destroyed on the day of the Lord soon.

Jeremiah 10
10: But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
11: Thus shall you say to them: "The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens."
12: It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.
13: When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth. He makes lightnings for the rain, and he brings forth the wind from his storehouses.
14: Every man is stupid and without knowledge; every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; for his images are false, and there is no breath in them.
15: They are worthless, a work of delusion; at the time of their punishment they shall perish.
16: Not like these is he who is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the LORD of hosts is his name.

Matthew 24
14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.

Isaiah 24
18: He who flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit; and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.
19: The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth is violently shaken.
20: The earth staggers like a drunken man, it sways like a hut; its transgression lies heavy upon it, and it falls, and will not rise again.

Ezekiel 38
19: For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20: the fish of the sea, and the birds of the air, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

2 Peter 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire!
13 But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Isaiah 66
15: "For behold, the LORD will come in fire, and his chariots like the stormwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16: For by fire will the LORD execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and those slain by the LORD shall be many.

Zephaniah 1
18: Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the LORD. In the fire of his jealous wrath, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full, yea, sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.

Lucky me I don't live in the USA, I have enough of the idiot we have right now.. not elected by the people. got the job cause her boss resigned ..

Much like Gordon Brown before her, and John Major before the 1992 general election gave him at least a modicum of credibility.

I think no matter which they would have voted for, they would make a very, very big mistake.

But what is, is. We should pray and work that it is a blessing. Complaining, whining "But MY person didn't win - boo hoo, boo hoo" not only is worthless, self-centered, egotistical whining but accomplishes nothing. One of the things people SHOULD learn as a little kid is: you don't always win. Some never do learn that life lesson.

Australia doesn't have a president. It has a Prime Minister and a Queen - neither of which received even ONE vote in a national, popular election (much less a majority)

One is thankful to God Almighty that we do not have Donald Trump as our president.

In Australia there is a Governor General. Prime ministers are elected in their own electorate. Nevertheless the nation knows who leads each party at a national election and votes with that knowledge. It is the party leader of the winning part who will become prime minister.

As I said. Australia doesn't have a president (so you don't need to be glad that Trump is not Australia's president - no one is). You have a PM who did not receive even ONE vote in a national, popular election. And you have a Queen who has never received even one vote in ANY election of Australia - popular or otherwise, national or otherwise. Since you think leaders should win the popular, national vote of the citizenry, why not start in your own country where NONE are so elected? And never have been? Jesus' log/speck point comes to mind..... the pot/kettle proverb seems to apply....

Donald Trump is a business man that can't even pay his own taxes, and failed business deals behind him, the man is a total moron on any level he has no compassion for anyone, and cant even get a half decent hair cut even with all his money, I truly feel sorry for the USA, after reading his manifesto on what he wants to do there, as for a wall the man is nuts... There you go hotrhymes your looking for work and want this wall so much go help build it then..hopefully he will go the same way as others did before him with a bullet.. as you can see I can't even stand to look at the orange man. he makes me shugged...

We built the biggest ocean. It's great. Fantastic. Bigger than any other ocean. And we built it to keep North Americans away. And we made them pay for it. Yes. We did. It's the best ocean. Way better than the Atlantic. That ocean is so second rate. Such a loser. We win! We're better than any place on Earth. Yes we are. Absolutely fantastic. A 10 at least. Not like you poor chaps. Your best days are behind you. You're - and I hate to say it - losers. Past it. Hasbeens. But we love you anyway. Yes we do. And we're great. Great now. Always Great. The best. Fantastic.
