Yes, they were due on the 29th, couldn't get delivery before 25th. I like them.

It drives me crazy when I get an expensive pair of headphones and one of the sides quits working. I bought 80 dollar headphones like 2 years ago (I think they were Sennheiser?) and they quit working after about a year, though I used them a lot. Now I have Sony headphones and they've worked well so far and were cheaper, like 30 dollars. Weird lol...anyway happy new year.

The AKG K240s are under USD 70, I think. Amazon had them. Mine came from China via a local distributor. I imagine any headphones can be broken or damaged or if they are poorly made then they may fail. I would expect Sennheiser headphones to be well made and good quality. I have an old Sennheiser set HD 60 TV is their model number, I bought them in 2002 and still use them. They needed new earpads, so I bought some replacements that arrived a week or so ago. But they do not produce the same quality of sound as the K240s. I have three sets of headphones now, one is an Ausdom M06 which has a microphone and I use them for my desktop when I skype. The Sennheisers were in retirement until recently when I got a Vaio laptop, I use them for listening to music on the laptop. The K240s (my new ones) are meant for music on either the desktop or the laptop. They sound very good indeed.
