I prefer sunset at the beach. Sunrise comes at an awkward time of day. :p

Where I live the sun rises over land and sets over ocean. I like it that way. I was born on the west side of North America and have lived nearly all of my life on west coasts.

I just helped my collegue. Oh oh oh Holland where if something doesn't work even the sweetest ladies curse all hell loose like it's nothing. I have learned to friendly say after a bunch of curses: is it not working Marge? No my ... mouse doesn't work. Oh my I can't even put that language here. Here take my mouse, I have a tablet. Now everything is fine again.

I was too busy feeding bunnies this morning so I forgot my key from my house or I left it in the bus. So now I locked myself out and called a company. I have to go home earlier otherwise it costs 125 euro and now 85. Oh well. I wanted to climb via the balcony of the neighbours, since the balcony door is open for the bunnies, but 9 stores is a bit high to climb past the fence. Better spend 85 euro than risking breaking my neck.

Do not break you neck (and other bones) for the bunnies!

I'm watching a doco on the mind control and subliminal messages that are (and have been in the past) used to program people via visual media such as television.

I had to stop and rewind and watch a version of the US national anthem being played on television in the 1960's where, while the song was sung, and the lyrics provided on the screen - there is a set of hidden lyrics that flashes for a moment before the real lyrics are shown on the screen.

The hidden messages are:

"Trust the US Government" (flashed before "Oh say can you see")
"God is real God is watching" (flashed before "what so proudly we hail")
"Believe in Government God" (flashed before "at the twilight's last gleaming")
"Rebellion will not be tolerated" (flashed before "who's broad stripes and bright stars")

This is in the 1960's! I'll link the video and time references for anyone who is interested.

I just changed my user title. Unfortunately, no spaces are allowed, no hyphens, commas, or anything else - and it truncated it so that the last letters are missing.

It should read "Composer and Artist on Flat Earth" instead it reads like something a grammatically illiterate person might write. Oh the irony.

I'm back from the beach again, by a few hours now. I went with my compass (an old fashioned one that I checked with a digital one), some binoculars and my phone camera to tape the sunset.

According to my compass (which was laying flat on a board), the sun did not set in the West. It set in the South-West - showing to me that from it's rising point I witnessed (from the same spot on the beach) a few days earlier, it did a semi-circle around my vantage point. On a Globe, East and West are 90 degrees from the North Pole, and the sun should rise due East and set due West.

That is not what I witnessed. According to my compass, the sunset position was SW, not W.

I changed your user title in the AdminCP to what you wanted. However, if you wish to change it in the future, you'll have to let me or one of the admins know so we can set it back to where you can change it yourself. :D

I seem to recall reading once that Australia has the lowest high point of any continent. :D

That is probably true. Yet I live among hills near the top of one of them :p
