Zone Alarm

I used Zone Alarm back in the 1990s and now it is back on my PC. They say it is a good firewall. it seems light-weight and unobtrusive. These are good things.

Maybe, but I find the built-in Windows firewall to be perfectly adequate - that is, if your browsing isn't too aggressive.

They are both free but zonealarm is better at stopping exploits and also blocks outgoing signals that are not approved by you.

I had Zone Alarm many many years ago! I didn't know it was still around or back. I can't remember why we stopped using it.

It's working well for me so far. It might be worth a try if you want slightly better firewall protection than is offered by Microsoft's one. The Microsoft firewall is good but I think zonealarm has a few tweaks that make it better.
