What have you done or will be doing to celebrate the holidays?

Parties? Ice skating? Movies? Craft Shows? Looking at lights? Museums? Church events? Choirs singing? Kids school presentations?

For me church, looking at lights a couple nights, a movie, singing carols, decorating the church, just different things

My husband's company no longer does a company Christmas party and we don't know many people where we live so no parties for us. Our town sends out a magazine every few months and I noticed it had a listing for seasonal events that sounded interesting. I will find it tomorrow and choose at least one event to attend with my family. Should be fun!

St. Augustine is pretty well-known for it's "Nights Of Lights" which I will take in soon with family...

The Angel Tree gifts for children is something I look forward to each Christmas and when I buy my gifts and wrap the presents I envision a happy child on Christmas morning. I know Christmas isn't about the gifts but it is about the gift of baby Jesus.

Crazy busy with craft shows in the run-up to Christmas. I plan to hibernate for most of January

A few things going on at church. My wife and I are expecting to go on Christmas Eve but not Christmas Day. Sometimes it's very easy to get into the mindset that if there's a service going on we have to attend it, and often it's nice to enjoy a lie-in on Christmas Day rather than slavishly turning out to a service just because it's happening.

We'll spend at least one evening at the local park where they have Christmas lights up. Although it can be cold after dark it's a nice walk to see the lights, as long as we take enough layers!

I was going to go to a local arts/crafts show but it was in someone's house. That's too awkward for me!! I would feel obligated to buy something I don't want nor need. I haven't been to a show in years so I'll keep searching for a nice one nearby.

It's cool today, but they predict 36c for Friday. I unboxed the new ac and have it in the room it is intended for, I'll set it up and test it later today.

Once the busy season is done I get to figure out how to untangle a hideous mess of prehistoric cabling in my house and replace most of it.

As close as it ever gets to winter in Florida.... all things are relative.

Anything below about 150 degrees is considered cold down there
