Does Satan truly have the power of death?

Hebrews 2:14 "Therefore, since the children share in [a]flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.."

Because of sin he does have power but ultimately it is God who has the power

In the end death is destroyed whatever that may mean
and Jesus destroyed death.

I understand this as sin is the power of death... and Satan tends to be behind sin (indeed, in a sense, sin entered via Satan). But thanks be to God, in Christ we have forgiveness and thus ultimately, sin (and thus Satan) no longer has power over us. Just MY understanding.... ain't saying that's saying much.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Revelation 1:18
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

No Satan does not have the power of death, according to scripture. All means all. Jesus has ALL power.
