Is there ANY situations in which you feel abortion is acceptable. If so, in which ones? I have no problem with a woman aborting a child in a situation where the MOTHER'S life is at great risk. Simply because otherwise sometimes you can lose both of them.

It is not abortion that is morally reprehensible. It is artificially inducing an abortion that is morally fraught because it deliberately kills a human being. But not all killing is sin thus if follows that not all artificial inducement of an abortion is sin however the cases where it is not sin are quite difficult to define and the vast majority of artificially induced abortions are almost certainly sinful actions.

I cannot vote for any of the options in the poll for the reasons stated above.

While true; one could argue that there are already too many children in country's foster system alone.

That may be because the process of adoption is too difficult and too expensive for many good people who would love to adopt.

Well maybe so, but one thing people need to realize is that while much of it is red tape there is a reason for a lot of that process.

Yes, there are reasons for the process nevertheless it does discourage some good people and it also excludes some good people.

The way you stated your earlier post it just sounded as though you were saying that the process is bad.

There are bad things in it and bad outcomes from it and probably some bad people involved in managing it. The world has many broken and many wicked things in it.

So murder is better?
You said adoption works well, but clearly not as well as you implied; if so, we would not have kids that literally GROW UP in the foster care system. After turning eighteen and being kicked out; many end up incarcerated, on the streets, my guess would be even have a higher suicide rate due to the lack of support after leaving foster care.

I don't believe in abortions but I voted for Yes, but only in cases of rape. and Yes, if the woman's life is at risk I fully believe in adoptions and think its an amazing idea and if a woman is raped and doesn't want the child I think she should consider it over abortion.

I am the same way. While I can understand not wanting the child and it is CERTAINLY NOT you fault if you were raped it is not the baby's fault, either.

Again, so murder is better than fixing what is wrong?

Honest question How do you propose we fix it? You cannot make people adopt. Other than maybe support AFTER leaving the system.

Pro choice means that she is OK with women who choose to abort, but that mean that she PERSONALLY would want to. It is just like with anything. The right to bear arms, for example, I can be completely aganist ANYONE having them ( or for limited number of reasons. I can choose to own one or more, OR I can choose for MYSELF not to own one, but support your right to own one.

Fix the system so that foster kids are not future problems would be one suggestion and as foradoption there are no end to people wanting a baby, it is the older ones that have problems getting adopted

Well, how do the babies become older ones?
