I know that we all love this site and are excited to see it thrive. I am getting lonely in the site supporters penthouse, anyone else want to support the site and join me there? Lets all do it and show Romanos just how much we love it. In case you are wondering I upped from the free to a paid site supporter

I love this site..... although I will be glad when non-Americans get finished bashing the US elections and we can get back to discussing Christ, our beliefs, our faiths, the things we cherish in common and the attempts to resolve where we are divided.....

So, should we amend our rules such that no one who is not a voting American citizen be allowed to discuss or question American political policies? Having a grossly unqualified president, who the world rightfully sees as a grave danger, in charge of the already hyperactive American war machine, is a valid concern to everyone in the world. Having an American president who stupidly denies the science of climate change and who greedily values economics over ecology, is also a concern to the entire world, since we share the same planet.

For better or worse, the U.S. is a superpower, and what we do has global implications. Personally, I invite criticism of U.S. policies from anyone, regardless of where they're from.

I'm generally in favor of keeping rules to a minimum... and that they be intuitive and evangelically "enforced." I only expressed my hope.

Frankly, criticism is fine, but part of the reason I post here rather than other places is the typically healthy dose of restraint. I count myself as guilty as charged as far as the lack of it.

On another note, Does anyone know how to add a Canadian debit account to 'Paypal'? all they seem to accept is American accounts. I'd like to become a supporter, but this is standing in the way.

Sorry, I meant to reply, but hit 'like' ... Anyway, I think we should be concerned about foreign affairs, especially from countries that wield such a heavy influence.

I'm actually a US citizen, but obviously not a current resident of the USA.

But even if this were not so - when the US stops occupying and invading different countries around the world - no one from other countries will be all that interested. The fact of the matter is - many people from many countries are interested because it either effects, or might effect them. So it's not really fair to say "stay out of our business" - when the US has pragmatically not followed this AT ALL with regards to so many nations.

Yes so I may post about Trump the whole day through. I'm too lazy to vote for my own country.

Cut off all foreign aid and help, ourselves and then maybe they would appreciate us more, or make them pay for the free protection they now get allowing them to spend more on domestic programs. Bashing the US is popular but highly overrated.

They should sing the national anthem, all verses and stand every time they say something nasty about the US.
