We are the crazy cat family in our neighborhood. We have four cats and one stray that wants to join our family, but he sprays so he has to stay outside
I am not a cat person, but as for the sprays do you know if he is fixed sometimes that can help.

Rabbit. He lives entirely indoors and is an excellent pet.

lol actually my dog gets along well with cats but not with other dogs

I think back and realize I've never had a dog that did not get along with cats. From the Boxer we had when I was a kid who finally got the feral cat who had a litter in our garage to accept him, through lucky a cat we had who destroyed 2 weimerieners and stupid a cat chasing dog I got from a classmate in college when animal control was breathing down his neck to our most recent telepathically linked pair of hell hounds who each raised their own kitten. (God have mercy on anyone who messed with either dog's cat, the dogs sure would not).

Cats all the way. I can tolerate dogs but don't really care for them all that much.

There are times I want to take our little kitten and wring his neck but for the most part he's utterly adorable. He's just sometimes a little slow to pick up on the things we don't want him doing, and sometimes he gets over excited and forgets he's not allowed to do some stuff.

He's off to the vet soon, and when he wakes up he'll find - er - some parts are missing.

I like dogs and cats, just never actually had a dog, i dont think I could be bothered taking it out for a walk 4 times a day especially in winter , my cats are both indoor cats and it was said once that cats have staff and dogs have owners... lol. i think that is actually true in my case..

Do you live in an apartment or somethimg? I rarely take my dogs for walks. The old dog just likes to hang out. The young one runs around in the backyard and chases the cat and old dog. Neither one is overweight, actually the young one is pretty skinny.

He is not fixed if he sprays.

Mom has a male fixed cat who occasionally sprays when the stray male cats are hanging around the house. Used to have a fixed FEMALE cat who would spray rarely.

I suppose there may be something else they spray when they are fixed.

As a teenager we had two female cats, both were fixed, and one of them used to spray outside.
