MAN was created in the IMAGE OF GOD, male and female they ( MEN ) were created.
Genesis 1
26: Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."
27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
What happens next is that created MAN gets a VISIBLE BODY called the FLESH made of earthen materials which means it becomes VISIBLE when observed by the observer ( CREATED MAN ) within the MIND of MAN. The "breath of life" that you will read in the next scripture is the WORD OF GOD which is INVISIBLE information processed into VISIBLE BODIES and a VISIBLE WORLD.
Genesis 2
7: then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
8: And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
21: So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh;
22: and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.
23: Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
24: Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.
25: And the man and his wife were both naked, and were not ashamed.
The name of the MALE BODY is called ADAM. The name of the FEMALE BODY is called Eve. Together, they are ONE CREATED MAN in the IMAGE OF GOD, male and female they were made.
However, because ADAM disobeyed the commandments of God because he listened to his eternal partner EVE who was infected by information called SATAN and deceived. Everything changed from that point on as planned.
Genesis 3
23: therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
24: He drove out the man; and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
After that drastic change, the offspring of ADAM and EVE were FORMED in the womb of EVE and out came only ONE BODY named CAIN. CAIN was BOTH MALE AND FEMALE. Instead of having an eternal partner of the opposite sex, Cain was now an adulterer who took another BODY as his wife.
This is why no FLESH of MAN on earth can obey this commandment, "Thou shalt not commit adultery". Every BODY that has sexual relations with another BODY during this first temporary generation is committing adultery. This is why God had Jesus say this when the Jewish leaders asked him about "divorce".
Mark 10
2: And Pharisees came up and in order to test him asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?"
3: He answered them, "What did Moses command you?"
4: They said, "Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to put her away."
5: But Jesus said to them, "For your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment.
6: But from the beginning of creation, `God made them male and female.'
7: `For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
8: and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh.
9: What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder."
10: And in the house the disciples asked him again about this matter.
11: And he said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another, commits adultery against her;
12: and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery."
Jesus knew that ONE CREATED MAN is supposed to have TWO BODIES. One body a male and the other body a female and they will be eternal partners joined together by God and will never be divorced from each other in the next generation called the New Heaven and Earth. The religious Pharisees had no idea what Jesus was talking about because they did not have the knowledge to understand how MAN was created in the IMAGE OF GOD and FORMED in TWO BODIES, one MALE BODY and one FEMALE BODY.
