Where do the holy scriptures ever teach that " all we think, say and do in RESPONSE to God as a child of God, saved by Him" is worship?

God is specific about how he will be worshipped. One cannot just appear and say "I am worshipping God" while one is engaging in, say, liturgical dance.

I believe Josiah was referring to the verse:

Colossians 3:14-17
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Somehow I think thta they knew this was worship. Worship happens, it does not need defined any more than praise does, it happens and when it does everyone knows it as such. I think to many times we try to put things in a box when they dont belong there or fit.

If "they" knew it then would it not have been written?

Ah, I see what how you're viewing it. You want the bible to be a textbook.

In other parts of scripture we see how giving thanks is considered worship and here we see the giving thanks referred to again after the "and whatever you do" is mentioned.

Not I. I never regard the holy scriptures as a text book. No proof texts. Just consistent exegesis without eisegetical incursions.

The correct worship is obedience, love, whole heart dedication, adoration and acknowledging who is the center of your universe. He is the end all, be all..
