We're all horrible which is why we all need a Savior.
I hate to say it - but the problem for these people is the thinking itself. Because they believe they are safe because of what they believe - they don't have to actually look at themselves, or change behavior. To them, Christianity is about being in an exclusive club and they get to feel smug about being in that club and look down their noses at anyone who they think (read - the measure they're using) - isn't.
Even *enjoy* that they "have made it" or "will make it" and others will not. The thinking is the antithesis of "love your neighbor as yourself".
So if Jesus is their Savior - what did He save them from? Certainly not Spiritual Pride, Arrogance and elitism.
But whatever. When a religion's greatest figure (in the practice of things that are read in churches, and repeated by most Christians, most of the time) is a guy who said this:
1 Corinthians 6 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people? 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
What should one expect?
