People I miss.

I knew an Orthodox Priest in Christian Forums. He died a few years ago. He was good company. I remember him very fondly. His name was/is Father George Saint John. May God rest his soul. He was my friend.

the one person I miss was my mentor. he was a doctor. he was able to take me under his wing. he taught me how to play the piano..the one song of that era was norweigen wood. he lived in a small cottage somewhere in a wooded area of marin county with his daughter. last I heard, some 20 years ago, he moved to Chihuahua mexico.. of course he is long gone. his motto to me was "try something new" I still have an old kailidescope he gave me..its at least 40 years old by now.

Right now I'm missing my friend Jas from work We're such different people but got along so well and trusted each other, helped each other, had each others' backs!

It is good and comforting to think of and pray for people that have left this life yet who were loved by us.

Yes, RevRandy, my favourite Orthodox chap. Yes, his dear wife did post in CF for a while but she disappeared more than a year ago. CF was not a welcoming place for her. I miss her too.
