I still would not see that as racism. Perhaps lack of diplomacy, but not racism.

We're near Mankato in the southern portion of the state. Next month I'll be up in Nisswa, which aside from Duluth is the farthest north I've been in MN!

Duluth? well, you must have been on Lake Superior, then.

We are by the Great Lakes, near Lake Ontario.

Yep, I LOVE Lake Superior, although Lake Michigan is my favorite. I grew up knowing the Great Lakes, obviously, living in Michigan. They hold a special place in my heart.

Sounds great; and you know I read about on Lake Michigan the National Lakeshore just into a bit of Indiana also; before you get to East Chicago. But Michigan, there's Holland, Mi and all the beaches, right? and Grand Rapids with all the bookstores!
