I don't care what anyone thinks, HRC is the more qualified person to be president and I will happily vote for her. Now don't all attack me at once, remember the flaming rule.:=D:hee hee!

Speaking of humor (lol, I hope that you take it as such)...the book of Ruth in the Bible is brutal, no? It talks about rape / homosexuality / inbreeding etc, right?

Even with all that + women being "give" to men, inbreeding, and everything else, I still believe that:

Boaz > Trump or Clinton.

This isn't a dig at you I promise (this was just the best analogy that I could find), but that is how a couple of pieces of filth I see both Clinton and Trump as.

Yes it is not that simple that those on the left would allow Muslims into the country with explosive devices so why even say that? I think most are in agreement that we need to protect our country and things are being done to do that. Vetting takes 2 years as it is now. We can't help it if we get homegrown extremists'; it's hard to protect ourselves from them.

Certainly in Europe (typically more left-leaning than the US) it seems there are some areas with ongoing issues relating to Muslims, most specifically with their disregard to the cultures and norms of their host nations and more specifically still with regard to the rights women in western nations enjoy to go about their business unmolested. The responses to such incidents typically seem to be that some on the right demonize Muslims universally and some on the left brush the problems under the carpet.

Vetting may take two years but it depends where you come from. I've known people go through the full vetting process for an immigrant visa (including health check, police check, embassy interview, the works) in 3-4 months.

Homegrown extremists are more or less impossible to deal with, the best we can do is try and spot them and give people the best means available to protect themselves from them.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for a Muslim USA.

I know there are some of you that are Democrats and love Obama, but this is for Americans first, politics later. We each have to do what we think is right.

I do pray that I don’t offend anybody with the truth of the message, but it has to be sent.

So here's the facts we need to share

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a “National Day of Prayer.”
In 1988 President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May of each year as The National Day of Prayer.
In June 2007 (then) Presidential Candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA “Was no longer a Christian Nation.”
In 2009 President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of “not wanting to offend anyone.”
HOWEVER, on September 25, 2009 from 4 a.m. until 7 p.m., a National Day of Prayer FOR THE MUSLIM RELIGION was held on Capitol Hill, inside the White House.
There were over 50,000 Muslims in D.C. that day. PRESIDENT OBAMA PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS!

I guess it doesn’t matter if “Christians” or other people of faith were offended by this event – We obviously don’t count as “anyone” anymore.
Now President Obama is encouraging schools to teach the Quran for extra credit, while at the same time they cannot even talk about the Bible, God, pray, or salute the American Flag.

The direction this country is headed should strike great alarm in the heart of every American, especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians (or anyone else for that matter) cannot be converted, they should be annihilated, ie; wiped out entirely. Lest you think this is not true, just look at all the beheadings taking place in the name of Allah around the world, a couple of them even here in America!

And that is just your first line of your entire post...

Somehow the rhetoric from the nationalist crowd gets more and more bombastic, every single moment that goes by...

Sounds like someone saying what you are saying could possibly have Islamophobia: see link for the definition: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamophobia

With respect, this is overly simplistic.

One might look at the book of Leviticus and conclude that Christians were bloodthirsty. One might look at some of the errant practices of priests over the years and conclude that Christianity is a religion of child abuse. One might look at a few court reports and conclude that all men are rapists. Extrapolating from a few samples, however horrifying, and assuming that the whole is like a part often leads to unhelpful conclusions.

To be clear, I'm not denying that there are Muslims out there who would and do behead Christians who refuse to convert, just like there are priests out there who would take advantage of the vulnerable individuals for whom they are supposedly caring and men who are rapists, but a sample does not define the whole.

Put another way, all apples are fruits but not all fruits are apples.

Well, to each his/her own. I don't believe all the conspiracy theories that the right is buying about HRC. She has done a lot of good that many of the right have not talked about, here are just a few of the tons of things she has done: http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/?pid=116834

Wait Ruth - you would vote for Clinton, because of her own merits and not because Trump is...well, Trump?

So you actually like Clinton for her and not because of the repulsion of the other candidate?

I have never met anyone with those views...I am...in uncharted territory here!!!

I don't want to dispel anything in that link - I don't wanna break it, I don't wanna burst the bubble, I am just in a moment where I found someone who actually likes Hillary Clinton.

Oh my.

I am female, I have a right to be concerned. I am Christian, I have a right to be concerned.

I don't think any woman worth a grain of salt is a real enough woman if she votes for...(I won't fill in the blanks due to profanity that comes to mind when discussing her). Men is one thing, but women voting for Hillary is like a woman who gets an abortion and thinks that it is like an act of Supremacy of her gender, rather than what it is ; an inferiority complex.

In 2003, a law to ban partial birth abortion came before the U.S. Senate, and then-Senator Hillary Clinton defended the gruesome late term procedure. I wouldn't say she defended children's rights nor protects them.

As to the health care reform, insurance companies are opting out left, right and center... with jacked up rates as high as 45%.

That link declares that Hillary worked for 911 health care... yet she is not mentioned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Zadroga

Hillary and women's rights... like the right to raise your own child... "it takes a village to raise a child".. children are not the parent's responsibilty... that is up to DHR. That is no always a good scenario.

Hillary on women's rights. .. What Hillary means by “women’s rights” is inextricably linked to the practice of abortion. Any women that has gone through an abortion can not begin to articulate the burden of knowing what they did to their unborn child, let alone what they know now what happens to the child born alive in one of those clinic, let alone what happens to the child's body parts.

I couldn't find any official documents outside of Hillary propaganda regarding UN LGBT rights.

I do find that she has been fighting for the rich tax to pay for family leave, rather than the SS tax increase to pay for family leave. Thus the hold up. I am all for family leave, and would gladly accept either solution.

Diplomat for cease fire between Hamas and Israel just by landing in Israel. Who paid for that into her coffers? and for what agenda?

If you read the definition you will see what it means. We all are concerned.

In Oz our current federal government has a one person majority in the house of reps and is in the minority in the senate. This week they lost two votes in the house of reps. They didn't lose on something major but they were in an embarrassing position.

Turnbull got through with a FL2000 race (or as close as)...I don't see his government lasting long.

Abbott had plenty of issues but he was fairly sturdy, this set up seems very shaky right now....(I gotta quit bagging on FL, but they did have a Melbourne before you did!!)

Fair enough, lol. There is a Birmingham in the UK...but I believe that the one in Alabama must be larger (land size / mass anyway).

Here in the U.S., we call our inbred population "Hillbilles"...in England, you call them "Your Majesty"...no? :bolt:

Probably not.

A large population allows for more breeding but not necessarily with one's near relatives :p
