Almost died with the last one and 3 is enough.
Pffffff now I understand why people get kids when they're in their twenties. I think in 10 years I'll be just like my brother and sister. It's fun for a few hours when my kids come, but then they're exhausted. Their dad is 57. He isn't really a play dad who does fun stuff with them but even my dad praises him because he does take care of them. He's always happy when I pick them up extra though.

At no age would I want to bear a child. Personally, I think we guys got the better deal in this whole matter.

But yeah, I see your point: NINETY does seem absurdly old to begin a family! I wonder if the point, though, is that God's promises DO work - in HIS time! Faithfulness (not always Abrahams' strong point) is appropriate?

I'm extremely energetic and now that I'm no longer working I'm once again active every day. But at my age no way would I want to start over with a newborn in the house, having to deal with diapers (we used cloth) and all those school projects that were last minute (trying to find poster board at 9PM since the project was due the next day but no one told ME). I think earlier in my 40s I would have been more led to wanting a baby but now I'm so over that and look forward to the day my daughter has babies of her own so I can have fun but not have to have that day to day responsibility.

When my mom would nag me to get another kid and I had more than enough of those horrible pregnancies I said: you get one or carry one for me as a bear mother. Lol she was almost 80.
90, imagine that. My mom is exhausted after we visited for a day. Luckily for Sarah it was only one kid.

Begore I even got the third I had ot all figured out. Kid wasn't even conceived or I had arranged the hospital. First stupid Dutch hospital gave nothing. Idiots. The other one just gave a spinal. Felt nothing, just fell asleep. Hey the baby comes. Oh okay.

I always feel bad for those new moms who have no idea. Asked one collegue if they had a good hospital. They look at you like: what are you talking about? Oh never mind.

Oh good heavens no I would not want to have a child at this old age and am happy the Lord has not blessed me with one or I would have a lot of explaining to do.

I'd NEVER want to give birth to a child.... (IMO, we guys got the better deal in this thing)

I'd be willing to begin fathering a child up to 45 or so... it's at least a 20 year commitment. But I think we do what we need to do, and God tends to empower such.

Here in the US we can provide health care insurance for our children until they reach the age of 26. A quarter of a century of support for a child at least. It's not cheap!
