I thought that America was racist and I'm sure there are racists, but since last night I think about it differently when a guy from cc said he was being terrorized by his black drug addict neighbours. They threatened him and his 80 some year old parents for being white. Ruin the car. They are being discriminated, not the other way around. His parents had lived there for 63 years and don't want to move, but it's turned into a dangerous ghetto. They just drive the whites out like in South Africa where the whites are now being discriminated. Police can't do anything. Don't understand why they don''t move though.
It's easy talking in Holland where the church is full of kind black people and noone on the street bothers you.

But that is racist too. Black people can be racists. In fact it would be racist to think that they cannot be.

Certainly some are shot for no good reason. And race hatred runs deep in some USAns.

I have a dream that one day my children will live in a land where they will be viewed NOT by the color of their skin but rather by the content of their character. And thus there will be no discussions of who is or is not "black" or "while" or "green" because such will be as irrelevant as their shoe size. No more talk of white cops and black cops..... no more talk of white arrests and black arrests..... no more talk of white income and black income..... of white students and black students. Anymore than size 8 shoes and size 10 shoes.

And I furthermore have a dream that one day my children will live in a world where they were be viewed NOT by their gender but rather by the content of their character. And thus no more discussions of male presidents and female presidents, etc.

There was a minister long before I was born who had this dream....... some in our society work OVERTIME to not only hinder it but destroy it, so that EVERYTHING is about race and gender..... and nothing is about character. These racists and sexists obviously benefit by that minister's dream being killed daily.

Come to Holland to some villages where they succeeded very well by mixing them all up and giving them equal chances with govt paid education, my kid went to a multiculti school, I could chat with the Moroccan parents, there were no ghetto's and the kids and parents got along, neighbourhood multiculti parties.
Only problem we have in Holland is the Black Peter discussion. Some think it's racist but then they say no it's because of the chimney that he's black lol.

Nice post, Becky. Indeed, virtually EVERY city and municipality that has historically been infected with violent crime, drug problems, etc., has historically been controlled by DEMOCRATS. There really are no exceptions. It is liberalism that has eroded the moral and ethical values of America, especially in its inner cities. These are facts and cannot be contested.

As Trump says to the black people about voting for him, "What the hell do you have to lose?" Things have been falling apart for them with the Dems for many, many decades. It's about time that blacks started giving Repubs and conservatism a chance and see the difference.

They really have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

We're raised with this. It's like the elves of Santa Claus. Totally normal. As a kid you hear he's only black from the chimney, it has nothing to do with racism, so adults believe that too and they get mad when someone calls them racist because they're not. One friend from church who's from Surinam always played black Pete for the kids. Handy! He was brown already. Hahahahaha only lately since this whole discussion I see how bad it is and it's so obviously a slave in an old slave suit and he had to act dumb. Unbelievable. I painted up like that too as a kid. That was fun.
