It is worth noting for comparison, that on a well-tempered scale, taking 396 Hz. as the fundamental frequency, we find the following intervals:

396*2^(1/12) ≈ 420 (half step)
396*2^(2/12) ≈ 444 (whole step)
396*2^(5/12) ≈ 529 (fourth)
396*2^(8/12) ≈ 629 (augmented fifth)
396*2^(11/12) ≈ 748 (diminished octave)
396*2^(13/12) ≈ 839 (augmented octave)

I would guess that the frequencies you cited are taken from a Pythagorean scale. :)

This made me smile.

Being a muso, one might assume I'm aware of this and could acknowledge the meanings the site has attributed to different frequencies.

I wasn't, and am not sure of the specific claims as they are supposed to relate to different aspects of human spirituality and bio-existance.

That said - the general topic of vibration energy - spiritual, bio-physical and the use in other applications has interested me for some time. I did a book course in electronics just so I could understand a project I wanted to (at that time) put together. The main purpose of that project was using resonant frequency to split water. This differs greatly from simple electrolysis, which is simply passing electric current (Amps) through the water medium - a resonant frequency circuit (where water is part of that circuit) on the other hand, is supposed to build up very large amounts of potential in the form of Volts, and use very small amounts of current in the circuit design - thus using a very small net amount of electricity (Volts X Amps = Watts).

However, someone more experienced than me in the field pointed out that the resonant frequency of the water would change depending on it's mineral content. This made a lot of sense and sort of put a damper on my plans unless I was using distilled water or had some way of auto-detecting what the resonant frequency of the circuit would be given any water source.

As for music - I have considered getting my piano tuned to A=432 (instead of A=440) - simply because the 432 frequency is what all instruments were tuned to originally and is more in harmony with nature.

In Hermetic tradition/law (a subject I am still a novice in) - "the principle of vibration" is the third axiom. Everything - even a piece of wood, vibrates at some level at some frequency. For those of us who associate those laws with the seed of life - it is the third of 7 circles forming that pattern.

If this last sounds strange or occult to some - well - that is because it is. All "occult" means is "hidden" - and this knowledge/school of thought is not widely known or taught.

^^

I have seen that video, and it is interesting as far as sound and geometry is concerned - but when talking of the resonant frequency of a circuit incorporating water into that circuit from an electronics point of view, and for the purpose of splitting that water using that resonance and thus achieving over-unity by virtue of the output compared to the total energy input in watts -

The resonance spoken of occurs at 1, and only 1, frequency - which is entirely dependent on the following variables:

The specifics of the non-water components of the circuit itself, (resistance values, plate dimensions - distance between, etc)

- which are variable at design - and static once set.

The specifics of the resistance of the capacitor of which water is the dialectic - which is a variable unless the water's specifics are known (it's sodium and other mineral content).

RLC circuits are resonating circuits - but they do not resonate at different frequencies - they resonate at 1 frequency, and only one (at different amplitudes, of course) - but only one frequency.

The video quoted uses "resonate" and "resonance" in a different kind of context.

Ohhh but what a wonderful world I see, God in His infinite wisdom, has all of nature sing His praises. There is healing in the sound of His voice. I am enjoying the exploring of sound, through air, through water, and through what ever material to learn of His wisdom.
