You cannot buy absolution. You cannot pay money for forgiveness. You need not give a priest any money ever. It is very wicked of you to say the sorts of things that you have said in your post.

No I was not trying to be offensive, I remeber that at least in the past there was something that people paid for, I think it was in connection with purgatory. Is that right? I guess I could go dig on the internet but I figure you know.

Well your post was (and still is) offensive. You ought to know better than to write such insulting things. What adult do you know that would say to you "In the word of Faith movement people pay to get healings, they need to give the pastor money or he will not exercise the gift to heal them". It's a horrible accusation to make. You've made accusations similar to the one you made in your post on other occasions. You ought to be ashamed to type things like that. It is truly disgusting to have posts like that appearing in Christianity Haven.

OK you are upset so I looked it up and at least in the past people paid for masses to get them out of purgatory faster and donations were a part of what the priest could suggest, so I wasnt that far off was I, if it really bothers you that much I will take that post off but this one stays since I did look it up
