Martin Luther is a pivot point of history having made a stand for his beliefs in the face of opposition he set afire the Europe of Catholicism and Orthodoxy ...

It's an hour long video. Could you please pull some quotes to indicate where you're going with this for us?

Nope :p

If you don't have an hour for theology then what do you have an hour for :smirk:

Trust is not what is asked. The first few minutes will probably be enough to tell you if the rest is worth your while.

With all due respect, More Coffee, my friend....

I come to this site to discuss with friends, community members. I want to hear from YOU and talk with YOU.

While I'm okay with a video of maybe up to 10 mintues IF it is then discussed - I never view a stand-alone video (no matter the length) and very, very rarely view one that is more than 10 mintues (sometimes 5) even if it is then discussed in the post.

If YOU want to discuss Luther, that's wonderful. If you want to include a quote or video in support of your post, that's fine just keep it SHORT and be sure to credit it. But I want to hear primarily from YOU. And discuss with YOU - I've never heard of that guy in the video and have no way of discussing with him.

Sorry. You've put up a few threads of this nature that I've ignored - for the same reason. Too bad, because I think you often have important and valid points.... and even when I disagree with you, you still tend to present your opinion well. And.... I must in honesty confess.... the very fact that this video is a product of the "Catholic Coming Home" people, that alone completely discredited it to me; I've watched and listened to too many of their stuff to have ANY respect of them and their ministry. Bit of friendly advise: IF you want non-RCC'ers to take something seriously, it needs to come from something that has some credibility.

I know I'm not your friend, but I embrace you as mine. Now, please try to avoid the personal attacks and remarks..... if you want to quote and reply to my point(s) in the post, then do. If you just want to state your feelings about me as NOT your personal friend, do that in a PM (or better, not at all).

You ought to refrain from using 'friend' towards one who is not your friend.

I could read the script from the video faster than the video runs. I too agree with others that watching doesn't get to the meat as fast as the written word.

I do not know if there's a transcript.
