Does your family get professional portraits taken?

I know some families who go in for professional portraits once a year. My family is not one of those LOL We've done them a few times though and they're nice to have. Nice to laugh at later for our clothing and hair style choices! :rofl3:

I don't, if I want photos I take them myself.

As a teenager my family had professional portraits taken. The image quality was well and good but the framing was catastrophically bad - the photographer had us right over at one edge of the frame. We were all in the frame but if we'd wanted to crop slightly differently to give a bit of space around us that wasn't an option. I shudder to think how he would have coped with small children who don't respond predictably to requests.
