God is light and if we walk in the light, then Yeshua can cleanse us from all sin, blotting it out, so that no iniquity may be found in us. The proof of whether or not we have the truth in us is found in our walk and talk. Light flowing from God's life cleanses us and blots out the sin.
We need to be on guard against the idea that blotting out of sin is merely a swipe on our Book of LIfe like a sponge over a slate, a deletion from the ledger. That is not the blotting out of sin. Someone can see a thermometer for the first time and think that to lessen the heat all they have to is break the thermometer. Does it affect the weather? Of course not. So the tearing out the leaf out of our Book of Life will not blot out sin. The sin is not blotted out by blotting out the account of it. So how does Yeshua cleanse our record of sins?
When Moses broke the tablets, God's law remained. The only true way of blotting out sin is to rid it fro our very nature. The erasing of sin or the blotting of it from our nature has to be to the point where we shall know it no more, nor ponder it. "The worshippers once purged" actually have "no more conscience of sin".
All this can not be done if one is caught up in the song and dance like that all there is to this faith we profess. Our relationship with Him is the end all, be all of our faith.
Let's us strive to open up our hearts to Him to cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Let us strive to live to the utmost all that we can to reflect His Character in us. If we take on His Nature, we will be one of the shining lights of the truth that you can walk and talk like Yeshua. You can have His heart for all people, and be humbly praying and seeking to always reflect Him. This work in us that Yeshua is performing is the ministry of cleansing that the priest did in the earthly sanctuary only now it is performed by Yeshua in us, His temples.
