Okay, some folk like to fancy that Catholics do not know their bible. It isn't for lack of hearing it.

I think it best to go to a quiet place where the world doesn't interfere and pray asking God to teach you what the bible says. Let God be your teacher. Man is motivated by selfish reasons, and big organizations have even bigger selfish reasons for promoting what they do.

Romans 10:17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ.

Faith comes from hearing the scriptures spoken out loud.

I do not think that. I think that prayerful personal reading is a great grace given by God and listening to the Church which has read the prayed the holy scriptures for ages is another great grace given by God. Being alone is not what Christians are called to. Christians are called to communion in the body of Christ which is the church. I add that your posts reflect a system of teaching which I am confident that you did not create.

Yep, John, Yeshua, and Paul went out into the wilderness to be alone with God before starting out on their ministries... It is a tried and true method.

They are called to walk with Christ, not blindly follow a church

Saints John and Paul were apostles who wrote inspired holy scripture. Jesus is God. You are neither an apostle nor God. Their example may have very little to do with you as far as formulating doctrine goes.

Wow...God doesn't want us to be His disciples/apostles.... where did you get that idea?

God called saint Paul to be an apostle. Are you called to that role?

They were taught just as we are to be for that is what the Holy Spirit does or is supposed to. Seperation is something that many are called to for a period of time, what other pages should we rip out besides seperation and prophets?
