I usually chat with them sitting outside on my doorstep. My most recent long conversation was with one of their elders and a companion that was with him. We discussed the canon of the holy scriptures and the significance of baptism. The elder gave me one of their new grey bibles (2013 edition of the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures) and I used it to show him Acts 22:16 and Romans 6:1-9 and asked if he believed what the holy scriptures said about baptism. It seems to have taken him by surprise. He could not give an answer - though I thought to give one would be very simple - so he may have gone away to research it. What do you do?

Talking 30 years ago I got bothered with Jehovahs witness all the time so one time I set up a meeting with them and talked to someone who knew scripture very well and by the time he got done with them they had nothing to say and I think were questioning their views, never got bothered with them again

I get elders mostly, seems my reputation is known to them. One asked if I was a priest :p

lol love it

Another asked if I was a monk. Naturally I am neither a monk nor a priest but they seemed taken aback that their presentations didn't work and that on nearly every topic their verses turned out to mean something quite different from what they'd been taught.

God willing some (hopefully all) will turn from the wicked doctrines they have been taught and receive the gospel in Christ as their saviour.

How naughty of the chap who takes away their magazines! :p

Or was he taking out sales broachers for Citroen?

Yes he said: if you go door to door, can you take some brochures with you?

Here's what I say/do: "Thanks, have a nice day." *takes brochure*, *closes door*, *throws brochure in the trash*
