There are many doctrines presented in Christian groups that do not really come from holy scripture's statements because they come from a preconceived theological framework which is used to filter what the holy scriptures say which makes one wonder if the people advocating those doctrines believe the holy scriptures or if they believe the theological framework and then use the holy scriptures in ways that bolster their theology. Is that how you argue in CH saying "this is what the scriptures say" when in fact the holy scriptures do not say it?

Anything is possible but read my posts and see for yourself which takes the front seat the holy scriptures or tradition. You often attribute to me views that are utterly at variance with my actual views. It is annoying when you do it. I wish you would stop.

Examples....

Jesus founded the individual, specific RC Denomination....
The RC Denomination specifically, exclusive and eternally is infallible, unaccountable...
When the individual RC Denomination speaks, ergo God is and God must agree with it or be wrong....
The individual RC Denomination is the sole, authoritative, infallible Teacher of God, Voice of God....
The current bishop in Rome of the individual RC Denomination is infallible when the RC Denomination says he is....
There are SEVEN Sacraments....
Purgatory....
Transubstantiation.....
Mary was deprived of a blessed sex life....
Mary was the co-redeemer....
Jesus had no siblings.....
A LOT of dogmas Jesus taught were kept out of Scripture by the Holy Spirit but the Holy Spirit told them exclusively to the individual RC Denomination which at times has - slowly, eventually, centuries later - told some of them (partly) to some.

I could go on all day......

2016 -1820 = 196. Are you attempting to say that the Catholic Church started in the year 196 AD? :)

I am saying it wasn't until the revolt of 134 AD that the Jerusalem Counsel was dispersed. Developing Roman Christianity didn't become legitimate until 313 AD. In its own circles, the arguments in Rome for recognition were presented to the state officials... sometime after 150 AD.

The Church in Rome was established in apostolic times, probably by some who heard the preaching of saint Peter the apostle of Christ on the day of Pentecost in the year of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Saint Peter later went to Rome as did saint Paul and there saint Peter governed until he and saint Paul were martyred either in 63 AD or 67 AD. Thus the Church in Rome is founded by apostolic ministry and governed by the apostles of the lamb and from it came the measure of doctrine and practise for all the churches in the west and in the east also.

Exactly which year do you claim it came into existence?
