It's all a pretence ... No one keeps the feasts of Jehovah today.

Will you call the Spirit of Understanding a pretense? Fellowship to me is simular to everyone sitting aroun the Fire. And everyone is obligated to keep the Fire going. Now as to how, that is for the elders to discuss.

But avoid adding toxic inflammable materials like old tyres to the flames because they will burn but they will give off fumes and smoke that will break up the fellowship around the fire.

Asking, demanding, or commanding the faithful to keep the feasts of the old covenant when one knows that those feasts cannot be kept without animal sacrifices made by priestly descendants of Aaron and made in the precincts of the temple as an offering to Jehovah is toxic to Christian faith and unity.

I like the first part, excellent and incisive. The second part is kind of uninteresting :)

Those who made it to the Passover that year, got to hear and see the Sacrifice being fulfilled in Yeshua. But it still took spiritual eyes to know why the crucifixion of this man was different from all the others. So it is with the feasts today. It takes spiritual eyes to see the significance.

The feast that Christians keep is Christ. Not the old covenant feasts.

Then why do you do the memorial of Yeshua's Passover at Easter? Easter is an old feast of another faith.

We do the memorial every time we celebrate mass and n my parish that is every day. Christ is himself our passover. "Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us, therefore, celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." (1 Corinthians 5:6-8)

So you keep another man's tradition.. which is much better than God's command..

I follow the Lord Jesus Christ and obey - as God enables - his teaching.

Yeshua is the King of the Jews, He is the Jewish Messiah.. I would say follow Him and obey Him as He instructed "Keep the commandments of God"

No, Jesus is the saviour of the world and not of Jews only.

Why do you say that?

Since it is "our faith" how can it be envied by those who have it?

Then why is it that the church tries to do away with anything Jewish?

Rabbinic Judaism is not Christianity. Why would Christians want to be Rabbinic Jews?

They dont but they do recognize the roots of their gfaith and dont throw out or come against anything Jewish. Would you be surprised to know that many of the practices during your service comee straight out of the Jewish?

They don't but they do recognize the roots of their faith

The roots of the Christian faith are in the teaching of Christ and the apostles of Christ. The beginnings of the Christian faith were in the Roman province of Judea. The religion of the people of Judea in the first century AD was a mixture of Sadducee, Pharisee, Essene, and the common piety of the people descended from ancient Judah and Israel. None of these, except perhaps for some forms of the Pharisee's religion, bears a deep resemblance to Rabbinic Judaism. Your posts confuse the religion of ancient Israel with the rabbinic religion of today. In ancient Israel there was a temple and priests descended from Aaron and sacrifices made to Jehovah in the temple in obedience to Jehovah's commandments. In Rabbinic Judaism there is no temple, no priests descended from Aaron, and no sacrifices in obedience to Jehovah's commandments. The religion you are looking to is opposed to Christ. It rejects him. It rejects his people. It's books and leaders reject the most blessed and holy Trinity they classify Islam as monotheistic but not Christianity.

and don't throw out or come against anything Jewish. Would you be surprised to know that many of the practices during your service come straight out of the Jewish?
