You are to move closer to God, become spiritual kings and priests that God in these last days of earth’s history. You show praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. In order to do this you will come to understand one of the most important tasks is Yeshua is performing in the heavenly sanctuary on your behalf today.

There are many aspects of the priesthood that are performed daily. From the prayers offered in the Holy Place, to the song of praise given from the book of Psalms at different occasions, to the keeping of the feasts at their appointed time the priest follow God’s instructions and instruct the people in the laws of God and what is required of them. God has made us today to be a part of this holy nation, this royal priesthood. If you are to be a part, you need to know your part.

Enter the Holy Place which is the temple of God, where the sacrifice of Yeshua is taken to atone for your sins. Just as everyone comes to the cross and sees the lamb that takes away the sins of the world, they are also to mature into the spiritual priesthood and go into the holy sanctuary where they are to partake in the truth in symbolic form found therein.

Remember all things point to the work of our Redeemer in Heaven as our High Priest and King.

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. You have tasted that the Lord is good. You are to be like Him, a spiritual house and to be a part of the holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Yeshua. Now you believe, you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, so that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. It is all because the kingdom of God is within you. You are one of God's fellow workers. You are God's field, His temple. According to the grace of God a foundation has been laid. Be careful in choosing the right construction material. Make sure it is God’s. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which has already been laid, which is and is in Yeshua. The Torah of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. And for many who prayed to God, knowing He exists but know not where to find Him, God understands.

God made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands and you knew that He is not worshiped with anything made by men's hands, like He needs any thing, seeing he gives to all life, and breath, and all things. He made out of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.

You have searched for God, feeling after Him; find Him, even though he is not far from you. For in him you live, move, and have your being. Fearing the Lord means recognizing and accepting His utter sovereignty and knowing that rebellion against Him will bring His fatherly discipline: “Whom the Father loves He reproves, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights”. You are His offspring. In the times of ignorance God winked at a lot of things done. Now God is commanding all men everywhere to repent. He has appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by Yeshua whom he has ordained to judge.

Oh, what an understanding and compassionate God, full of mercy, tolerance and long suffering. It is time to be no longer ignorant regarding God and His mission of mercy and salvation. It is a promise from God that when you repent He promises to take away all your sins. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and God wants to dwell within you?

Then go to the Old Testament and learn from Mount Sinai, the construction and function of the temple, as it is a representative of what the Lord is when He walked the earth and what He wants you to emulate too. Yeshua’s illustration in the sand in the wilderness of sin is the same framework which He wishes to construct in you. There are three major layers. The original, which is in heaven, where Yeshua is now ministering as our High Priest, as you can read in Revelation. The copy which was given to Moses and which He had built the travelling tabernacle with all services included gave you the rehearsal for a prophetic play to teach you the work of the Messiah in your life and heart walking in the flesh as it is found in Yeshua. Yeshua is at your temple door knocking... waiting... He is saying “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with you and you with me.” For the sake of others coming to learn of the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE let your life be an example of Temple service to God.

Context reveals who the faithful in the heavenly temple are. They are the saints.
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and one said, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. And the court which is without the temple leave without, and measure it not; for it hath been given unto the nations: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the Lord of the earth.

And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man shall desire to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed. These have the power to shut the heaven, that it rain not during the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they shall desire.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. And from among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations do men look upon their dead bodies three days and a half, and suffer not their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And they that dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and make merry; and they shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth.

And after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them that beheld them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Keep tripping over the very cornerstone of God's kingdom.

Saint John knew that there was a new covenant with a new commandment - one that is not new any longer because it is the foundation of the covenant between God and the faithful in Christ.

(John 13:34) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

(1 John 2:7) Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard.

(1 John 2:8) Yet I am writing you a new commandment, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.

(2 John 1:5) And now I beg you, lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.

I thought it might help you see it better.

Why do you want me to see it better? It says that we have a new/old commandment it is new because it is at the heart of the new covenant and it is old because it was given by the Lord Jesus Christ from the beginning of the Christian church; namely that we are to love one another as Christ has loved us. It's the commandment that the saints in the heavenly temple keep.

1 John 2:7 becomes like sounding brass when repeated without context and made so HUGE. Perhaps it is so HUGE because you do not know what it says and means. The context explains it very well. And now I beg you, lady, not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.

You are trying to make it sound like this "love one another" is a new commandment, but it is not. It is the same commandment from the beginning... The onld commandments are the new commandments, they are not in stone but to be applied in the heart now.

Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

No, it is saint John the Theologian who says that it is in 2 John 1:5 and 1 John 2:8 and the Lord Jesus Christ says that it is: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another." (John 13:34)

And it is stated also that it is not a new commandment and no I don't remember where.

That is said in 1 John 2:7 and in 2 John 1:5.

A command to love one another cannot be new in any objective sense because God is Love and God is eternal and unchanged by time. He is Love and always has been. The command is new and revolutionary because it supersedes and fulfils all the old covenant commandments upon which the Jews relied in anticipation of a new covenant in which God would reveal himself. Christians are in Christ because Christ gave himself for the faithful. Christians have the life of Christ. And when they things as they really are Christians realise that in Christ we have fulfilled the Law and the Prophets. There is no more old covenant provisions that are not fulfilled in Christ. That is why Christian are free from the spirit of fear and bondage. Christians have the life of God in them. Born from above, born by the Spirit, cleansed in the blood of Christ, and beloved of the Father. No animal need die for them. As the scripture says "there is no more sacrifice for sins" but the sacrifice of Christ. There will be no revival of animal sacrifices for the faithful. Christ is our passover. He has cleansed us. He has opened a new way, as the holy scriptures say: "Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way which he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:19-25)

Just like the two given in the New, they are not new also as the first encompassed the first four of the twen commandments and the second encompassed the last six
