God gave the feasts to Israel not to Christians under the new covenant.

Ephesians ch 2 vs 10. Lovely message.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afor prepared that we should walk in them.

Ordinances are a little different and law

Ephesians has all the bases covered, Law, Commandments, and Decrees are all made ineffective and all are abrogated. You appear to be mincing words in an attempt to preserve the ancient feasts of Israel. That seems like very shaky ground on which to build your theological house.

Ephesians 2:15 τὴν the ἔχθραν enmity ἐν in τῇ the σαρκὶ flesh αὐτοῦ, of him, τὸν the νόμον Law τῶν of the ἐντολῶν commandments ἐν in δόγμασιν decrees καταργήσας, having made ineffective, ἵνα in order that τοὺς the δύο two κτίσῃ he might create ἐν in αὑτῷ himself εἰς into ἕνα one καινὸν new ἄνθρωπον man ποιῶν making εἰρήνην, peace,

Should we talk about a braid and the One who knows how to upbraid. If you have any skill in weaving you might see a pattern.

Nope I should not have to defend what God said with cristians but here I am. It is you who splits hairs declaring that God didnt mena forever and that it was only for the Jews. Are we not adopted into, are we not in the family? If not then all the promioses of Abraham that we clainm are not valid. Split all the hairs you wish Gods word does not change for you or anyone else

God meant forever. He said it to Israel. God didn't say it to Christians. So Christians don't do the law thing.

Then you have no right to claim anything from Abraham on for you are not children of Abraham. Cant have it both ways

Is the same true of the First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Tents? Do you keep the feast of Lights? Are they all everlasting devotions (except maybe Lights) for you?
You do realize you will not find the Feast of Lights is not listed in Lev 23 where all the Lord's Sabbaths [Feasts] are listed.

Colossians 2:16-17King James Version (KJV)

16 Let no man therefore judge you [freedom from man's dictates while you observe it the way God requires] in meat, or in drink, [diet] or in respect of an holyday, [Feasts of the Lord found in Lev 23] or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[weekly Sabbath rest] 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

You see there is no instructions not to keep them, but advise in not letting anyone judge how you keep them.

Colossians 2:16-17 King James Version (KJV) 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

You see there is no instructions not to keep them, but advise in not letting anyone judge how you keep them.

Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Do not let anyone disqualify you, insisting on self-abasement and worship of angels, dwelling on visions, puffed up without cause by a human way of thinking, and not holding fast to the head, from whom the whole body, nourished and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God. (Colossians 2:16-19)

I see that being bound by sabbaths, new moons, foods and drinks is self-abasement and worship of angels it is being puffed up without cause by a human way of thinking and it is not holding fast to the head, that is to say the Lord Jesus Christ.

No, according to the gospel Christians are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and are incorporated into him. Judaism is not the same as Christianity nor is being a Jew the same thing as being a Christian.

The vine IS Christ and we are his branches. It's good language isn't it. I am the vine and you are the branches. Saint Paul speaks of the body of Christ of which we are the members (limbs and parts). But we are not grafted into the vine. John chapter fifteen doesn't mention grafting. Perhaps you're thinking of the Olive tree mentioned by saint Paul in Romans chapter eleven?

Then you are missing part of God's message to you. Do the rehearsals helps you see the fulfillment when it comes. These feasts are God's appointed times.

They are God's appointed feasts for Israel. Seems to me that you have a decision to make. Will you embrace the old covenant as the core of your religion or will you embrace the new covenant as the heart of your religion. The only way that the faithful can rightly understand the old covenant is through the lens of the new covenant. It cannot work if you do it the other way around. The new covenant is not understood through the lens of the old. That is the failure of many religions that become mired in legal niceties.

You haven't met the Lord of the Sabbath then.

I embrace the new covenant... The new covenant is the old covenant with the light of Yeshua shining upon it. ... It is not the letter of the law without mercy but the spirit of the law with Yeshua's expertise.
