I don't regularly consume the types of drinks you refer to. I don't buy them for home consumption. I have consumed them on occasion when out, busy and without my own food (like when buying fast food), or for a special purpose (I need to stay awake while I'm driving), but otherwise I largely avoid them.

Exception - beer. That's the only carbonated drink that one could find in my fridge.

I like sweet carbonated drinks. I try to give them up and then when I try them again after a while they burn my throat. But I still like them and think it's difficult to totally give them up.

Iced Tea.... iced coffee..... water..... those are my fave cold drinks.

I won't drink diet soda at all - I can't stand the taste of saccharine and don't trust the safety of aspartame.

I drink regular soda in moderation simply because of the amount of sugar in it. My preferred soda is root beer although a 12-pack will still usually last me a month or more.

Pepsi and sprite are my favorite but I don't shun Coke either. But I drink them in moderation.
