Yes, I dont walk nearly enough and it is rough to start but does get easier
I can't wait to get back to hiking too! My body is used to sitting around in front of a computer at work so it's going to be rough on me.
Back home we had a trail that was over 9 miles from my house to the end and I would ride my bike there and back but always wanted to walk it. I was afraid of being in the sun for so long since there was no shade really and getting heat stroke. I think maybe where I live now it might be more feasible since some of the trails are in the woods.
Started going for shortish walks around town. Just 2-3 miles or so, but a few interesting hills to climb along the way. I always thought this valley was more or less flat until I started walking and cycling around it. You don't notice hills except the really big ones when you're driving.
I love the hills. I grew up on flat ground and never realized how dull it was. It's so pretty where I live now and I keep hoping my family will move here too!
Flat is nicer when cycling!
That's why I use a trainer in my basement year round
Hi Romanos!!
Yeah, it's not as exciting indoors but I don't have to fear any cars hitting me.
