Nah when I wrote that I still had things to say...but I know she's going to get the last word.

I'm doing ok...haven't slept in more than 24 hours, but this is intentional...got a few things to do tomorrow during the daylight hours.

Just kidding. It can be left. And I wasn't tired when I wrote that, I actually had quite a few hours a sleep and was high on nutritious food with lots of energy Sprouts . Are. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently ordered a bunch of different organic seeds....well over $100 worth. They don't go off as long as they are kept right. In my view, excellent investment. Why waste money on generic vitamins and minerals?? My seeds have no use by date!!!!! Kept properly, they keep for a lifetime, and with a little water, know how and time, provide all I need.

So much of my mind on other things lately. Was necessary...but need to devote an hour or 2 a day to keeping my brain sharp in the music area (and my fingers). Lots of different exercises to do this, from simple variations on melodies (keeping harmonic rhythm and static chords)...to changing the harmonic rhythm, to chord replacements, to playing a phrase in a sequence of keys, to playing it backward (that is not something I can do readily on the spot!!), to giving the base the melody....

Edit: nom nom....to giving it imitative counterpoint...to changing the melody on relative inversions, to playing it in minor instead of major and vice versa, to accentuation with octaves, 3rds, 6ths, to adding selectively adding extended chords such as 9ths or 11ths or 13ths....

Wat? I mentioned no video. I said exercises for keeping sharp musical mind. That isn't performance material...it's prep material that includes stopping, thinking, replaying, experimenting....which doesn't lend itself to public videos since the timeline is fragmented by such activities (the unplanned pauses for thought and analysis) and is not meant for entertainment, but rather, training.
